History:

Son of noblemen, born in a gold chest as being the sucessor of a colonial duchy, Zamora was a charismatic young boy looking to expand his heraldry glory and power. During his regime, he used his army and brutality to take down republicans and monarchists pro-colony that opposed his power, he soon estabilished a stable political power that conserved his power for years.

History:

After Zamora's death, the great power vacuum led many officers to scramble for the post of Marshal. Aldo di Castillo surged as an emerging young officer who was lectured in Bilbao and had modernist public administration bias mainly propagated during the Napoleonic Wars. He was both famous and infamous for his controversial project of government, but many historians claim that if it was not for him Veleste would never achieve the political status it has. Aldo reopened relations with european nations by stabilishing trade routes and commerce which greatly improved the quality of life of poorer citizens, while also waging war with Brazil for maritime control of the Amazon river near the Marajó island, having it conquered for 5 years before selling it back to Brazil.

History:

Both his mother and father were italian immigrants, although he was born from a golden crib in Porto de Caneva, United States of Canaimã. Moro-Aldo gave his life to the studies of sociology and politic sciences, becoming an activist he pledged the equality among the people. Between his teen ages, he acted in various movies like the Roses and Flowers, Up to the Call and Loving Substance; he was also a soloist for the Young Velestian Military Choir.

As he turned 18 in 2004 he obligatorily served the military but decided not to continue as an active soldier as he was always interested in politics, when he completed 20 he ran for the local councilor chair of district 3 in Bartica, winning and being in office for two years. His youthful way of thought impressed his colleagues and the city. In 2008 he ran for the city councilor chair and had the most votes percentage, it was clear the people wanted him as a Sheriff. In 2010 he founded his own party to run as a Sheriff, the VJA (Velestian Juvenile Action), though he lost by a very narrow percentage he got famous because of his speeches. He recieved an invite to join the DSP (Democratic Socialist Party), and ran for the Regional Council two years later in 2012, winning with most votes. With twenty-six years old, he decided to pause his political career and started to act in moves once again, Reloading Fears did a blast in the cinemas, but The Young Prez made his famous throughout Veleste. Years later in 2014, the more influence he had when he ran for the post of Premier of Veleste (pontiff chair at that time), winning it by a narrow percentage.

While serving his term in 2018 a mass political crisis within his own political circle and party obliged him to make a political reform in Veleste, resigning his post giving the powers to the General Council who would decide the fate of many politicians accused of corruption. Moro-Aldo surprisingly was not indicted of any accusations and his Head of State post was kept as the people claimed to. In the end, the Council formally accused many politicians and reformed the pontiff chair turning it into a dual leadership system with Moro-Aldo as the Head of State and Cristiano Porto Bragança who was elected as the Head of Government in 2022.

Points of View:

Politics: He always believed in a classless society where everyone would help each other in perfect harmony, but for that to happen, he says that in order to reach a classless society, there is a need to reduce the universal suffrage from time to time with technology allowing the population to be more productive and have more spare time to specialize itself. In terms of exterior policies, Moro-Aldo is very conservative, even being born of immigrants, he always believed that the other cultures among the Earth were unase and agressive towards eachother but Veleste, in his own words, coped that vice and turned into a prosperous multicultural nation.

Religion: His parents are Catholic but were not active, because of this, Moro-Aldo never really got actively engaged with religion.

Sexuality: As he never talks about it, tabloids propose that he is asexual, but no one is sure or has proofs of that. The fact that he does not have a wife and never publicly declared a relationship makes this a very uncertain subject.

Trivia:

-> Once every week, Moro-Aldo partakes in the Velestian Military Choir audition and practice, visiting his old friends.

Cristiano Porto Bragança

Picture dated from 2022

Date of birth: 26th July of 1980 (Trapézio)

Age:

Progenitors:
Vladimir Gava Bragança
Michele Bartolomeu Porto

Careers:

  • Logistics Technician

  • Master of Business Administration

  • Military Personnel

  • Military Officer

  • Interior Representative of the Supranational Confederation of Veleste

Alma Mater:

  • Pontífice Universidade Católica de Bartica

Social Status:
Married

Signature:

History:

Cristiano was born in Trapézio, a town near the capital city of Bartica in the Republic of Essequibo. From early ages he had a passion for guns and military as his grandfather was a lieutenant and his father a seargeant of the local militia department. After he concluded his mandatory military enlistment, he gathered funds to apply in the Pontífice Universidade Católica de Bartica to study logistics. Despite being third of his class he was able to obtain an Officer Cadet opportunity in the military as he rejoined and began working on the logisitical branch of the army. As the years passed the more influence he had as he was promoted to Chief Logistical Technician and began demanding new but economical resources as an alternative to cost saving, this made him very famous in the military class and he was proposed to run to be the Interior Representative of Veleste in 2018 as a part of the political crisis during the Moro-Aldo administration. He was elected and started working on a new development plan that promises making Veleste almost independent of vital resources from other nations.

Points of View:

Politics: As a son of conservative store owners, Cristiano carries an anti-tax heritage, as well as a open thought about property and individual rights. He believes that free markets are not the source of the problem of societies but rather the way that enterprises work as he once claimed: "The cause of world poverty is simply globalisation and economical hierarchies. The confederation must protect its industry and offer opportunities to new small enterprises so we could hit two birds with a stone: both capitalist and socialist cons would be gone". The capitalist and socialist cons by his definition are poverty and bad redistribution of commodities.

Religion: He followed his family heritage being a devoted Catholic, although intimate friends claim he is actually atheist and only goes to the church to obtain what they call "social credit", which means societal recognition according to them. There are no concrete proofs of these claims since he is an active member of his religion, which makes these statements futile as of now.

Sexuality: Cristiano is married as he claims was his first and only true love, they are often together in meetings and even international encounters.

Trivia:

-> Both Cristiano and Moro-Aldo are members of the Velestian Military Choir, although Cristiano had to become inactive in order to do his work.

Dress Code of Pontiffs

Thoughout the history the pontiffs of Veleste used a variety of military uniforms, referring to the tradition of Ezequiel Zamora who used his military garnish in almost all official affairs. Since the beginning of the First Democratic Reform the Supreme Marshals used the Malta Honourship medal up until Vicenzo Falchetto abstained from wearing it, the tradition came back with Ambrosio Martinelli but after the Socialist Coup it was formally banned and defuncted.

The Malta Honourship only returned with the Second Democratic Reform but not as a pontifficial garnishment as it was repurposed to be a Honour Title to distinguished members of the military, today it is used by only five awarded.

Only in 1975 the Premier Sebastian Quesada institued an official formal dress for the High Command of the Army, Navy and Air Force. It is still used today with several rules:

[1] Collar: represents the total percentage of votes recieved to be elected as a pontiff; thinner the collar is, lesser is the percentage (Matteo is until now the Premier and pontiff who had the biggest amount of percentage with 72% total of votes)

[2] Cap brass: shows the academic level of the user within the military (Moro-Aldo has a short brass which means he only concluded the enlistment obligation; Félix and Cristiano are wearing a longer brass which means they concluded their enlistment, achieved an University Degree and reenlisted as Officer Cadets; Matteo is using a thick and long brass which means he studied in a Military University)

[3] Cap military insignia: shows if the user is an active military personnel (insignia shown) (only Cristiano and Juán Pablo were active during their terms) or reserve military personnel (insignia absent)

[4] Shoulder garnish: shows if the user was previously a High Command officer (Félix and Moro-Aldo were not so their garnish is plaid and has no stars; Matteo and Cristiano are using their previous rank garnish)

[5] Dress division: shows if the user is enlisted (no dress division) or dismissed of military affairs (two parted dress, only worn by Moro-Aldo)
