Recruitment Policy Changes
The North Pacific has decided to allow permissible recruitment by the four sinker regions (Lazarus, Balder, Osiris, and The Rejected Realms). The government recognizes that sinker regions do not have the same steady stream of new and active nations as feeder regions (The North Pacific, The Pacific, The South Pacific, The East Pacific, and The West Pacific). TNP hopes that this new recruitment policy will help sinker regions thrive and encourages other feeder regions to adopt a similar policy.
Liberation Day
The North Pacific is celebrating Liberation Day, the day when they were freed from the rule of Great Bight. Government Officials have dressed their nations and forum accounts to be pirate themed as Liberation Day was freed by 'pirates' in a successful coup. On the forum, many are participating in the 
Three Word Story where everyone contributes 3 words at a time to form a story about how we were freed from Great Bight. Although it started out on topic, the story has become filled with fast food jokes.
The Northern Lights - Issue XIV
The Ministry of Communications has just released the latest issue of The Northern Lights - Issue XIV. The Northern Lights is the regional newspaper and provides the nations of TNP an insight of what is happening inside the government as well as on the forums for nations that are not involved. Ambassador Positions Available
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is currently looking for ambassadors to other regions. Being an ambassador offers players a new perspective on NationStates apart from the unique experience here in TNP. Ambassadors are required to post monthly reports on the forums as well as regularly visit their assigned regions. There are currently 4 positions available. If you wish to become an ambassador to another region, please send a telegram to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sankami.
TNP Gaming Night
This past Friday, TNP held the very first gaming night! In the TNP discord channel, many came out to play all types of Steam games together and a couple other offline ones as well. This will now be a weekly event! Everyone from the forum, discord server, and RMB is welcome to join us! The gaming sessions will be held on Fridays, at 8 P.M. Central US Time. Suggestions for games are always welcome and can be sent to any of the Gameside Advocates. We all hang out in the gaming discord channel of the TNP discord server, and sessions run around 3-5 hours. Hope to see you there!
