The East Pacific Retro Gaming Tournament

The East Pacific kindly presents...

A tournament of fun, nostalgia, competition, and comradely! You heard it here first - the great region of the east invites both regions and individual competitors for annual bragging rights across the NS universe. This competition, which is billed as a two-week competition to be held annually in the last two weeks in September, will feature four classic games, which will be selected each year. Care and consideration was given to the accessibility, different platforms, and difficulty associated with these four games for the first year of this tournament. This year's crop is a particularly diverse group of games which we are sure you will enjoy or get you really, really frustrated.

How Does This Work?
Simple: play the game on your browser and rack up points. When you're content with your score, post the score Linkhere in this thread in the form of a screencap (please don't cheat, or else NS karma will destroy you), along with your nation name and the region you're playing for. Just keep it honest and true. For what it's worth, Linkhere's a good site to host your 'caps. If you happen to beat your score, please post it in the form of a reply or else we might miss it. We will only accept scores posted by the player in this thread. Leaderboards will be constructed daily to keep tabs on who's ahead.

How Does Scoring Work?
Top overall scores will be the sum of the places for your four game totals (because some games are easier to rack up points than others). Only your top score for each game will be counted, so let's say you get 500 points on one game (Game A) and 1000 points on the same Game A, posted later. Therefore, your top score of 1000 will only be counted for that game. If your 1000 points is second-highest for that game, you get two points for your overall score. So, let's say you're in first for two of the games, second for another game, and third for another. Your TOP SCORE will therefore be 7 points. In other words, the lower your score, the better! Note: if you decide not to play a game, your score will be counted as last place for that game, so do your best and play them all!

Who Wins?
There are two contests: one for individual scores and one for regional scores - first, second, and third for each. Therefore, it is in your best interest to recruit as many people from your region to play, because even if you happen to be a real pinball wizard, if a region gets 50-100 people playing and they all score a little bit, their region could very well win out. Is that fair? Heck yeah it is!

Prizes in the form of images and bragging rights will be distributed.
