Getting Started in The East Pacific
First of all, Welcome to The East Pacific! This is your home region, and as such it should belong to you as much as it belongs to any of us. Read on to know how you can get more involved and shape the very region you are in!The East Pacific (TEP) is one of the five largest regions in NationStates. That means we have the most fun! Let me show you the ropes!
Step One:
If you haven't made an account on this forum yet, you need to in order to post and send messages. Go here to register
Step Two:
If your nation lives in TEP, then you should become a citizen. Follow these instructions and apply
If you are a diplomat from another region, then apply for diplomatic status here
Step Three:
Make a thread and introduce yourself!
Tell us about yourself and/or your nation. Perhaps answer some questions, like:
How did you find NationStates?
How long have you played NationStates?
What inspired the name of your nation?
Have you joined the World Assembly?
What country are you from?
Do you like watching the news?
Do you like studying the government?
Step Four:
Have fun!
What is roleplaying? Well, have you ever wanted to have your nation (or another nation you come up with) interact with another nation in The East Pacific? Roleplaying is the actual process of that interaction. By writing posts to one another, nations can interact via diplomacy, war, trade, embassy swaps, state dinners, research, etc. But it doesn't have to be nation-driven, it can be as simple as characters interacting with other characters from other nations. Things like an international military school and an underwater research lab have been popular in the past, but that doesn't mean those are the only options. Check out our roleplays, or start your own - the possibilities are endless!
Roleplaying in The East Pacific: Where, Why, and How?
Join the regional government to become a legislator, judge, minister, soldier, or even the leader of us all: the World Assembly Delegate. The East Pacific is one of the five largest regions in the game, so influencing your region means influencing the world. If you think deciding your nation's issues is fun, wait until you experience the complex political environment on our forum! It's loads of fun for people who enjoy watching politics on the news or studying the government in school.
