Introduction:
Beyond the Seven Moons lies the Hollow Sea- a dimension where thought rots into matter and memory becomes predatory. The beings catalogued here are not gods, though many civilizations worshipped them as such. They are fractures in reality given hunger, shape, and intention.

Most scholars of Nanatsu no Tsuki agree on one principle:
“To witness an Abomination is survivable.
To understand one is not.”

I. VORUN-KAI, THE MOON BELOW THE OCEAN
Titles:
The Drowned Eye
King of Salt Graves
He Who Watches from Beneath Reflection

Classification:
Transdimensional Leviathan

Appearance:
Vorun-Kai appears differently to every witness. Sailors describe an endless, pale cat eye beneath black water. Priests see a colossal cat skeleton suspended upside-down in the sea. Mad survivors claim the ocean itself becomes its flesh.

When fully manifested:
Tides reverse
Moonlight darkens into cobalt hues
Fish emerge already dead
Reflections move independently

Origins:
Ancient records suggest Vorun-Kai existed before the first moon was born. It drifted through void currents until the oceans of the mortal world provided a suitable “memory basin” in which to incubate.
Entire drowned civilizations are believed to exist inside its consciousness. Particularly the Fatto Canine Conglomerate, which vanished one day.

Abilities:
Devours memories through eye contact
Creates oceans where none existed
Animates corpses using saltwater
Can erase locations from all maps and recollection.

Cults:
The Cathedral of the Tidemouth sacrifices navigators to Vorun-Kai so their souls may “chart the abyss.” Its followers sew shut one eye to avoid accidental communion.

Weakness:
Vorun-Kai cannot perceive individuals with no recorded history. Orphans, nameless wanderers, and forgotten dead are partially invisible to it.

II. YSHEL-MOR, THE THOUSAND-LIMBED SCRIPTURE

Classification:
Living Memetic Entity

Appearance:
Yshel-Mor resembles a mountain-sized mass of parchment flesh covered in writing that constantly rewrites itself. Cat limbs emerge from its pages, each holding quills made from bone. Its voice manifests as thousands of whispered meows speaking one sentence ahead of reality.

Nature:
Yshel-Mor does not merely record history.
It edits it. When passages upon its body change, reality subtly rearranges itself to match the new narrative. Entire empires have vanished overnight because the creature “corrected” them from existence.

Abilities:
Alters causality through written language
Infects readers with prophetic madness
Summons “Ink Cattish Apostles” from spilled blood
Converts knowledge into physical mass, or hair balls.

Forbidden Truth:
The original version of cathood may no longer exist. Some historians believe Yshel-Mor has rewritten civilization countless times already.

Weakness:
It cannot alter events witnessed simultaneously by seven or more conscious minds. Collective memory resists revision.

III. ARAK-ZUL, THE STARVING SUN
Titles:
The Black Dawn
Mouth of Heaven
The Solar Corpse

Classification:
Celestial Predator

Appearance:
Arak-Zul manifests as a second sun eclipsed by writhing shadows. During direct manifestation, observers report:
•Teeth visible inside sunlight
•Solar flares resembling skeletal wings
•Shadows stretching toward the sky
•Looking directly at Arak-Zul causes spontaneous combustion of the optic nerves.

Origins:
According to forbidden lunar scripture, Arak-Zul was once a star that became aware of mortality. Its terror transformed it into a predator feeding upon heat, souls, and worship.

Abilities:
Consumes light itself
Drains warmth from entire continents, and computer keyboards
Turns devotion into fuel
Creates “Ash Feline Angels” from burned populations

Historical Cat-astrophe:
The Fifth Moon War ended when Arak-Zul descended above the imperial capital of Nareth. The city froze and burned simultaneously for thirteen days.
The ruins still emit cold sunlight.

Weakness:
Artificial darkness weakens it. Certain alchemical void-flames can temporarily sever its feeding process.

IV. THE WEAVER IN RED STATIC

Mother of Broken Signals and Litter Boxes
The Crimson Frequency

Extra-Reality Intelligence

Appearance:
The Weaver has no stable body. It appears through:
•Distorted radio transmissions

•Cat mouths speaking in unison

In the modern era of Nanatsu no Tsuki, it infests communication systems like a digital plague.

Nature:
The Weaver does not seek conquest.
It seeks synchronization. Entire populations exposed to its signal begin sharing dreams, meow patterns, and eventually consciousness itself.

Abilities:
Hive-mind assimilation
Transmission through sound and electricity
Emotional manipulation
Creation of “Signal Thrones” grown from nervous tissue

Cult Behavior:
Followers willingly replace their eyes with silver receivers to “hear the true meowing chorus.”

Weakness:
Absolute silence disrupts manifestation. Deep underground chambers can block its influence temporarily.

V. KHALDRETH, THE UNBORN KING

The Empty Throne
Cat Prince of Stillbirth Eternity
The God That Refused Existence

Classification:
Conceptual Anti-Entity

Appearance:
Khaldreth has never fully manifested because its existence is fundamentally incomplete.
Witnesses describe:
A feline silhouette missing internal space
A crown floating around a void
Echoes arriving before sound
Animals refuse to approach areas touched by its presence.

Nature:
Khaldreth represents unrealized possibility- every future that never occurred condensed into consciousness. Its mere proximity destabilizes causality.

Abilities:
Reverses probability
Erases unborn futures
Causes impossible paradoxes
Prevents resurrection permanently

The Silent Prophecy:
If Khaldreth is ever fully born into reality, time itself will cease progressing because all possible futures will collapse into one dead endpoint- an empty food bowl.

Weakness:
It can only manifest where hope has entirely vanished. Genuine acts of selfless sacrifice weaken its cohesion. Do not pay your legal fees, ever.

VI. SENNOH-RA, THE MOON EATER

Titles:
Jaw Beyond Heaven
Devourer of Tides
The Seventh Hunger for Chicken

Classification:
Astral Apex Entity

Appearance:
A skeletal cat/serpent hybrid of impossible scale coiling between moons. Its ribs contain entire storms. Its bicuspids resemble cathedral spires. Every eclipse is believed to be part of its feeding cycle.

Origins:
The oldest myths claim the moons themselves are eggs laid to distract. Sennoh-Ra from consuming reality outright.
One has already hatched. No records survive describing what emerged.

Abilities:
Devours celestial bodies
Alters gravity through movement
Causes mass insanity during eclipses
Breaches dimensions with its jaws

Ultimate Threat:
Unlike other Abominations, Sennoh-Ra possesses instinct rather than ideology.
It cannot be reasoned with.
It cannot be worshipped safely.
It only hungers.

Weakness:
Unknown.

Every expedition attempting discovery has disappeared.

Hollow Kitten Cherubs-
Malformed winged fell kittens formed from accumulated grief near battlefields. Their yowls induce suicidal nostalgia. Pray they do not deploy their yodeling attack.

The Bone Choir-
Animated dog skeletons fused spine-to-spine into singing towers. Their harmonies open microscopic tears into the Hollow Sea.

Veil Squat Spiders-
Invisible predators that consume names instead of flesh. Victims become impossible to remember.

Lantern Hamsterlings-
Tall, decaying hamsters carrying glowing organs instead of heads. They lure travelers into dimensional sinkholes.

Mourning Beasts-
Quadrupedal entities born from collective fear during pandemics, wars and periods of aggressive company acquisitions. They spread despair like a contagion.

The Seven Laws of Encounter:
Ancient hunters of the eldritch established seven laws for survival. Never speak an Abomination’s true name twice. Never trust mirrors during eclipses. Never read writing that changes while observed. Never answer meows emerging from static. Never chart oceans that were absent yesterday. Never dream beneath a crimson moon. If the sky develops teeth, do not pray.
