What is the DCP?

The Democratic-Centrist Party of The W0rld (DCP), formerly known as the two separate parties of CPW (Nova Porustania) and Neru (MerCIA is a Furry), is one of the now more than 3 parties of The W0rld, it was originally formed after the NCU split into two parties, with the other turning into a party now led by New Khemet, the party would later expand after uniting with Neru just recently in March 31, 2026 after discussions with party leader MerCIA is a Furry, establishing the Democratic-Centrist Party.

The core members are Nova Porustania, The Province of Taiwan, The Tro Zimoub Islands, and by extension, MerCIA is a Furry who joined after the union of the two parties. Nova Porustania and Taiwan are the founders of the original party.

DCP's Platforms

I. Better Roleplaying

CPW believes that roleplaying is what The W0rld is, and should be improved upon.

The party believes strongly on stricter Roleplaying moderation to prevent any OOC disagreements, godmodding, powerplaying, and other unrealistic events that may happen in the Regional Message Board (RMB), this can be done by allowing three mods (who will moderate regardless of season) to account for all three times of a day (Morning, Noon, Night) so that even if one mod is asleep, the other two can work; the mods needed must be impartial and has no history of godmodding whatsoever.

II. Neutrality

CPW believes, and by extension, I (Nova Porustania) believe that wars with other regions do more harm than good.

The W0rld has already experienced multiple wars, from the early days of Nova Dackians up until the very recent war the region was involved in — that being the war with the Imperium of Christian Nations (ICN), yet none of them reaped great rewards for the region or even the opposing region, as it either just became a pointless war everybody forgot existed, or only involved spying or RMB spamming.

To prevent more of these useless wars, the party believes that The W0rld should focus more into external affairs all while not neglecting internal affairs, which will prove to be a harder but worthwile experience for the president.

III. Government

CPW believes in two things involving the government of the region:

The first: The first is to have a founder nation take on the role of the governor, this is to prevent any possibility of a tyrant to seize control of the Presidency and banject everyone put of the region and lock it up for themselves. Having a founder nation means that not only is the governorship basically hardlocked, but the position will be in safe hands. The only people that should be able to access the founder account are those who are trusted enough that they won't try and usurp the region, only four can be allowed.

The second: The second is to adopt a semi-presidential system of government, where the Chancellor (or Prime Minister) has the same or almost the same powers as the president, even if the president will still have the final say, this'll make sure that the Presidency won't be unchecked. Another very related platform is for the senate, which will be discussed below.

IV The Senate

Let's face it: The Senate of THE W0RLD, although functional, is barely active, although right now it is showing signs of activity, it'll most likely lead to inactivity due to the lack of laws forwarded by senators, that's why the party believes that the region's senate and the senators should be more active, and will be encouraged to make laws that'll benefit the region overall.

Apart from DCP's core logos, the party also inherits the principles of the other half of the DCP, that being Neru:

1. Militia for defense and aid, not raiding
This party supports a regional militia that defends the region and helps innocent regions under attack. It will never use such a force to raid another region for fun or gain. Self‑defense and mutual aid are the only acceptable uses of force.

2. Governor terms should be stable
The Governor is the head of state, which is holds the most trusted role, and changing this position too often creates instability. This party proposes a six‑month term instead of three months; a longer term means fewer elections, which means less vulnerability during transition periods. The Governor must be the most qualified and trustworthy person, not just a popular nerd.

3. Officers chosen by merit
Government positions should go to people who prove they are active, skilled, and dedicated. Popularity contests often put unqualified people in charge. But, people or anyone can nominate a member who shows hard work and ability. The senate then confirms them based on merit.

4. Direct democracy in officer selection
While officers are chosen by merit, the people (citizen) still have a direct say. All officer nominations are publicly shared, and residents can recommend or object.

5. Neutral
Your real‑world political beliefs are your own. This party does not "judge or exclude" based on "them." However, keeps real‑life political arguments out of the damn RMB unless clearly marked as out‑of‑character and placed in a way that does not disrupt roleplay. Discussion is allowed, but the region’s main purpose is fun, not debating real‑world issues. (I'm deadass)

6. World Round Table; a fair WA alternative
This party wants a fairer WA alternative; The World Round Table. It is a regional assembly open to every nation, as long as they're are citizens. It allows anyone to propose, create, and discuss ideas. It has fewer restrictions than the WA, making it more accessible and fair. It gives everyone a voice without (f-word) overcomplicating things.

ROSA — STRONGHOLD of SOCIALISM

ROSA is a socialist party that believes in fair leadership, free and fun roleplay, and equal rights for everyone in The W0rld.

This party stands against puppet cheating, abusing power, and starting wars without a real reason. This party believes that all players deserve respect and a space to enjoy roleplay without fear or unfair treatment.
