URN Constitution and Laws

U R N Consitution

The U R N is hereby established as a constitutional monarchy.

Section 1: Powers of the King
The government of U R N will be headed by the King. The king is Paledonn. The King will always have power. The powers of the King include control over the regional map/RP, ability to suppress posts in accordance with law, eject and ban threats to the region, to appoint Knights in times of crisis, and a permanent position on the court. They may also override decisions made by the region if they believe it will bring harm to URN. However, they will avoid doing this as much as possible.
Section 2: WA Delegate
The WA Delegate will represent URN in the WA. They will have power over polls and Communications.
Section 3: Elected Positions
Six electable positions are hereby created. These are President, Surgeon General, Secretary of Defense, Attorney General, Secretary of State, and Secretary of the Interior. Polls for these positions will be no less than 3 days, and puppets may not vote in them.
Section 4: President
The President oversees the Secretaries and shares all of their duties. They must help organize and coordinate the government to do things. They will hold authority over Appearance, Border Control, Communications, Embassies, and Polls.
Section 5: Surgeon General
The Secretary of State will keep the RP healthy by ensuring that the rules of the RP are followed. If they are found to be abusing this position, they will be tried by the court. They will hold control over Communications and Polls.
Section 6: Secretary of Defense
The Secretary of Defense will safeguard the URN by keeping watch for raiders or other malicious entities infiltrating URN with intent to destabilize. If the URN is raided, it will be their job to help secure it. They will have authority over Border Control and Communications.
Section 7: Attorney General
The Attorney General will organize the court if they find a serious accusation has been raised against someone. They must also help enforce the law by suppressing posts that do not come into compliance with RMB law. They must also investigate puppet voting and abuse of power. They will have control over Communications and Polls.
Section 8: Secretary of State
The Secretary of State will be the ambassador of URN. They must try to establish military alliances, friendship, and trust with other regions. One of the most important jobs this person is making others know about U R N and that they have a positive relationship with us. They will have control over Appearance, Communications, Embassies, and Polls.
Section 9: Secretary of Interior
The Secretary of Interior must try to create activity within the region. They should come up with interesting polls, events, and any other things that will get people to have fun. They will also control the regional flag. They will have control over Appearance, Communications, and Polls.
Section 10: The Court
To be decided by popular vote

Section 1: Right to Run
Every nation has the right to run for political office, unless this privilege has been taken away by the court.
Section 2: Freedom of Speech
Each resident will have the freedom to express their ideas. However, if an argument begins that gets out of hand action may be taken.
Section 3: Freedom of Religion
No religion will be discriminated against or favored in any way. By any regional governmental or judicial decisions made in URN
Section 4: Freedom of Legislation
The URN regional government or judicial systems may not impose any policies that force or encourage people to solve their issues in a certain manner.

These are the laws of U R N, created in a democratic process all members can take part in.
SECTION 1 (law)

Act 1:
Puppet Voting Restrictions
Each person may only vote once on a poll (puppet nations can't vote), unless the poll says otherwise. The punishment for disobeying this law ranges from a warning, ejection of one puppet, or even ejection of all accounts. The court will vote on the punishment.

Act 2:
Misusing the RMB Laws
Misusing the RMB will not be tolerated. Misusing the RMB includes- Spamming, extreme or excess rudeness, inappropriate links, and Cussing. If someone finds another doing this, contact the court immediately. The punishments for misusing the RMB are- suppression of the post, suppression of all of your posts for a time agreed upon by the court, or ejection. Act 2b Over dramatic posts will be suppressed, with possible ejection if the behavior continues.

Multiple Offices Act
Each nation may hold more than one public office.

SECTION 3 (social)

Act 1:
Founding Day
This act declares 6/13/14, the date of our founding, a regional holiday.

Act 2:
Ban on Ludicrous roleplay
This expands on realism by banning the use of ludicrous comments to advance ones cause. These comments include posts that ignore stats, posts that are impossible, or posts that just don't make any sense.
