WellCoins are The Wellspring’s regional currency, and the lifeblood of its economy. Many buildings in The Wellspring—the hallowed WA Headquarters, the luxurious Casino, and the stately University Lecture Hall, to name a few—need WellCoins to pay for their construction, and The Wellspring Stock Exchange is a place where WellCoins can be gained, or lost, in the blink of an eye. Whether you hope to become rich or simply want to assist with the construction of new buildings for our region, it is necessary—if you are starting from scratch—to obtain a decent amount of starting funds first. Fortunately, that can be secured through a variety of regional activities.

By simply chatting in The Wellspring’s Discord server, you will earn one WC per quality message with a short cooldown. This means that the more you post, the more WCs you can get. However, this method is quite slow and not every conversation will be long enough to bring good returns, and so it is generally better for you to seek alternatives, which will be explained below.

At present, the easiest method to obtain WCs is to endorse Delegate Well-Sprung Jack and vote like him in the World Assembly. Completing the former earns you 10 WCs a day, and doing the latter also brings another 10 per day for each chamber you vote in.

However, if you are impatient and aspire to collect a large amount of funds quickly and reliably, sending recruitment telegrams is the best option. For each telegram you send, you will be paid seven WCs. To do this, you first need to become a citizen by applying in #citizenship-applications, if you are already a resident. If you are merely a curious visitor, you have to move a nation to The Wellspring and verify yourself as a resident using the bot before you can apply for citizenship.

Upon getting citizenship, you will gain access to the region’s recruitment channel. From there, you can create a recruitment telegram template and recruit with the bot by following the pinned instructions. The task is long and tedious, but the reward is great: you can earn up to thousands of WCs by diligently sending dozens of telegrams every day.

Once you have built a decent reserve of WellCoins, you can try your luck at the Casino or better yet, the Stock Exchange. Gambling in the Casino, either by flipping coins or playing the slot machines, is entirely a game of chance: you can gain a lot or lose everything in a matter of minutes. On the other hand, the Stock Exchange is more predictable, with certain stocks you can buy and later sell at a profit. While there are good times when investors can buy low and sell high at an astronomical rate (which usually happens when stocks crash and quickly recover in a short time), greatly enriching themselves in the process, such times are rare and the stocks normally fluctuate at a steady rate. There is also a chance that you horribly misjudge the trends and buy a stock believing that it will rise in price, only for it to drop lower and fail to recover. Therefore, it is recommended that you invest in multiple stocks and thus diversify your stock ownership, which would reduce your risks and losses, albeit at the cost of potentially lower profit than risky investments.

Lastly, the Hunger Games also reward winners with a neat pile of WCs. You will be rewarded 10 WCs for every time you sign up for the event. As a tribute (participant) in the event, you can receive gifts from sponsors, and earn a portion of the bets placed on yourself if you emerge as the final winner. But the most lucrative option is, of course, betting: you can bet some money on a tribute and win back twice that amount if they win, and there is also a small interest awarded to you for each day the tribute lives. This requires some starting funds to make a good profit, however, and the event itself is another game of chance, much like the casino.

As you can see, there are two main paths for a player to get rich in The Wellspring: the slow and steady way, or the fast and risky way. If you are looking for safety and a sound method of building wealth, sending recruitment telegrams and investing in a diverse stock portfolio is the answer. If you don’t mind taking a little risk for more profitable returns, open your wallet and start gambling in the casino, or you can try playing with risky, volatile stocks.
