Claim List (Can be claimed at any time):

1. Keep things realistic to a degree. As in, no godmodding or making your nation completely overpowered.

2. No Flamebaiting, keep things civil in RP discussions.

3. No baiting, don’t do things just to cause an argument.

4. Don’t make low quality posts, make sure you're clear with what you're saying, each post should be a few sentences long.

5. If declaring war on an NPC nation (from invasion map) or player nation, a good casus belli is needed

6. PLEASE remove pings when responding to a rp post.

Policies:

*1. If you are inactive for 7 days you will be sent a 3-day warning, and if they continue to be inactive they will be removed.

*2. If a player is taking a break then they should tell RP admins, if this break lasts for more than 20 days then they will be removed ahead of time. (unless given permission to be away longer by a rp mod)

*3. RP mods are the judges of the rules and if someone violated them with WIP being the main judge.

Casus Belli System:

In order to go to war you need a Casus Belli - a reason for war. There are several examples of good casus belli you may use, and others that are not acceptable.

What is an acceptable casus belli?

Self-Defense: If a country conducts an attack against you, you have the right to defend yourself.
Alliance: If an ally of yours is attacked by another country, you may join the war (unless your ally does not want you to join)
Blockade: If another country establishes a blockade on your country, you have the right to defend yourself.
Independence: If you are a puppet of another country, you may declare war on your overlord for independence.

Some casus belli are only acceptable under certain circumstances. If you are not sure if a certain casus belli is acceptable in a given situation, ask an RP Moderator.

What is a questionable casus belli?

Reclamation: If another country controls land that was previously yours, you have some justification to declare war.
Liberation: If you intend to liberate a portion of a country or end an occupation, you have some justification to declare war.
Counter-Terrorism: If a terrorist group attacks your country and the country they originate from has either sent or supported them, you have some justification to declare war for regime change or hunting terrorists.
Genocide: If another country is committing a genocide, you have some justification to declare war.

Subjugation: The most questionable casus belli, an aggressive and illegal action to impose an occupation upon another country or part of their land. You must consult and get approval from an RP Moderator BEFORE taking action.

If you wish to declare war, but your reasoning is not anywhere on the above list, you MUST consult an RP Moderator for approval BEFORE taking any action.
