Quotes from Supporters: The Kaverian wrote: Back in 2022, 2 years ago, 2 years into my NS journey, I had just came back from a long hiatus away from NS. One of the recruitment telegrams I got stuck out to me: one from Yodle that offered me cookies, so I joined NBB.There weren’t real cookies.
But there was a very real community here, built by Yodle over several years. I had never been an active member of any particularly big regions at that point, so seeing a large active community that I could be part of really had a lasting impact on me, even as I moved on from NBB. About a year and a half later, I was once again coming back from a NS hiatus, and I once again saw the recruitment TG from Yodle (still promising cookies), and now I am here.
As one may know, I am a sucker for legislation, and I was inspired to start writing bills in part because of the quality and polish of Yodle’s bills. He is a fantastic writer! He also gave me my first look at the judicial side of regional government. He gave me the opportunity to participate in the deliberations of a major court case as an Interim Justice, and let me write the verdict and majority opinion (and also made me want to be a Justice whenever I retire from being Speaker lol).

During the Vordo vs TRTHNBB Case Yodle helped me with my case since it was my first time doing it and I had lots of fun during it.Without Yodle, TRTHNBB wouldn't exist, I wouldn't have met so many cool people and probably wouldn't be playing NS right now. Yodle deserves a Commend.
New United Common-lands wrote: Back in 2020, I joined this weird political simulator called NationStates having completely no idea what I would let myself in for, shortly after joining one of the first recruitment telegrams I receive is from a nation called Yodle, my initial thoughts was… who is crazy enough to pick “The Region That Has No Big Banks” as a region name…. very weird and very quirky. Then, in said recruitment telegram I was offered cookies and the rest is history.Yodle has been a consistent figure in The Region That Has No Big Banks , and when he truly puts his mind to task, he achieves impressive feats, from writing detailed and thoughtful legislation, lengthy telegrams and mind blowing card collections. The extensive Security Council proposal really speaks for itself. I fondly remember telegram exchanges between me and Yodle in 2021 about improving the region and generally how we could kickstart Government activities. It was an exciting time, and still is an exciting time. Nothing quite prepares you for the little feeling of excitement you get from a message or telegram from Yodle, he will catch you off guard with a new idea or provide you some thoughtful perspective and guidance. Imagine getting a telegram from Yodle, relatively out of the blue, “I was thinking of appointing you as the new WA Delegate”... this was before I even entered a government position. That telegram alone instilled a feeling of faith which Yodle had in me but also motivated me to make good on that faith - and only 3 months later Yodle made good on his word and announced me as the New Delegate. Over my journey from DPM, PM, Delegate and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Yodle has been there in the background providing advice and guidance. Especially when I asked the stupid questions about NS politics or mechanics, he truly is the definition of an NS mentor for me... and has been my biggest cheerleader whilst we worked together to revitalise the region.
Genuinely Yodle has been the true guardian of NBB whilst as delegate, governor and founder over these past 8 years, from single handedly managing regional recruitment spending his own money on stamps to keep this region alive, from keeping us all together when there was regional arguments and from taking tough decisions and banning problematic nations, all in the efforts to make TRTHNBB a welcoming and safe Community for all.
Yodle has been so successful in his endeavours and has contributed so much to our community. His efforts deserve to be formally recognised. I am so honoured to have had the privilege to work with Yodle and pleased to play a part in developing this Proposal Commendation.

Venesia Grande wrote: Now, I am not here (in this very region) for that long (now that I say that, it’s been a bit over a year already), nor have I had contact with him much, as of yet, but from the little I know and can say about him, he is generally very calm, good-natured/good-spirited, and really a Golden Retriever (at heart). That being said, he can also be stern and keep the region afloat during times of trouble and steer us onto a good path through his guidance. He is the bestest of doggies and we all love him.
Chronic and Violent IBS wrote: I wholeheartedly agree. When I first arrived to this region I was incredibly overwhelmed. Between finding my place in an... unusual... community, to my bid for DPM (We're number #2!), Yodle was a huge help. It was the little things that he did, (and still does), that made me feel welcome here, in a rather dark time in my IRL life. Is this oversharing? Probably! Is it sad that I found solace in an online political simulator? A little. But regardless, the fact that Yodle was kind and this welcoming to a newcomer as chronic, violent and arguably insane as myself, is a true testament to his how much he cares about everyone in this region as a nation and a person. He deserves his commendation without a doubt. Rock and Stone Yodle. Rock and Stone.
Socialistic Britain wrote: I'm finally getting around to adding to thiswhilst I don't think I have anything to add upon what has already been said, I still would like to provide my view on Yodle and why he does deserve a commend well, maybe more the former than the latter
Yodle has contributed and built this region (this is including TPTHNBB) for the past.. 7 years? made card collections for Declansburg, Averra land (Alcris) and is making one for RGBN currently. saw potential in nations that went on to further build our community and allowed it to thrive (Such as Aya (would NUCL count?) ). helped with cultural events and expanding TRTHNBBs' foreign reach, as well as the Endotarting Initiative and incentivising people to write Legislature, with our parliament now boasting 27 members, with way too many pieces of legislation passed and written to mention here.

America the Greater wrote: I joined this region very soon after it was founded. I really didn't expect much, all I wanted was a fun place to chill and maybe talk about Bernie. What I got was the most welcoming and friendly online community I've ever been a part of. As Founder, Yodle started us off on the right track through his absolutely infectious friendliness. He encouraged me personally to take a larger role in the region and never shied away from inviting new perspectives. What started as a fun little website turned into the home of a really close-knit community filled with exactly the kind of people you'd want to have around - active, welcoming, positive people who took after Yodle himself. None of us were ever afraid to speak our minds about problems we had with the region or to make massive, sweeping changes - all Yodle cared about was the health of the community, he never favored his personal initiatives over anyone else's.Eight years down the line, that hasn't changed in the slightest. Though Yodle isn't the hands-on leader he once was, he still takes time out of his life consistently to check in on us and continue working with newer residents to help them feel comfortable in the region. When we have a problem, Yodle's there to help. He's also one of the most creative people in the region in terms of generating new ideas.
Put simply, Yodle is exactly the kind of person you want to be a region's Founder. He's active, welcoming, and genuinely loves the community he's built. What more can I say?
