Mechanocracy has had various flags throughout its existence. Some of these flags were limited to very short periods and are not included as canonical flags.
Antecedent to the Confederation Flag c. June 2022 – Sept 2022  The first flag of Mechanocracy, introducing the diagonal split field of blue and white. |
Flag of the Confederation c. Oct 2022 – April 2023 The primary canonical flag of the Confederation of Mechanocracy. The center armorial is based on a render of a robotic eye in a scene with multiple point light sources. Rendered here as an .SVG to service Season 3 of NationState's card feature. |
Photoelectric Woods c. July – September 2023 Meant to integrate Mechanocracy better into the natural landscape of Concord. The blue field contains a modified photograph that was under public domain from the USGS. |
Artificial Light c. November 2023 – June 2024 Commerates the passage of Repeal: “Star Gazing Day”. The blue field contains an woodprint illustration that was reproduced in Wolfgang Schivelbusch's Disenchanted Night: The Industrialization of Light in the Nineteenth Century, originally from Hippolyte Fontaine's Éclairage A l'Électricité, commissioned from the illustrators Bonnafoux, Chauvet, and Jahandier. |
Liberation from the Dark c. August 2024 – 13 April 2025 Made following finishing reading Wolfgang Schivelbusch's Disenchanted Night: The Industrialization of Light in the Nineteenth Century, featuring an illustration from French magazine L'Illustration, edition 1881, which was made by the engraver Louis Poyet, portraying a costume made by inventor/designer Gustave Trouvé. |
Transitional State 13 April 2025 – Present A flag to represent Mechanocracy after its former leader, Margh0t Ostenten L13enfewld, was deposed, and a transitional republic was installed. |
