Denunciation of Plenty For Me Policies

The following is an open letter from President Daniel Johnson to the Intergalactic Federation and the World.

Dear Intergalactic Federation,

As you may know, our nation has previously taken strong stances against militarization, and has itself renounced the use of Weapons of Mass Destruction, opposing their use by anyone. Our ally & neighbor Rustovic recently decided to make their nation a no-guns state, due in no small part to efforts by the People's Republic of Paltap. Due to our pacifist goals, and a desire for world peace, it is alarming to us that other members of the Intergalactic Federation, particularly the nation of Plenty For Me, are increasing rather than decreasing their military expenditure. It seems to me that all the free peoples of the Intergalactic Federation would be much better served by increased effort in the International Fleet, to protect all Federation members, rather than continuing regressive local military policies.

Due to this renewed military effort by the Supreme Leader of Plenty For Me, our ambassador to the World Assembly has chosen to withdraw our endorsement of Plenty For Me and its allies. However, we plan to continue to represent the interests of the entire Intergalactic Federation in the World Assembly, including Plenty For Me and its allies. As the unofficial leadership of the Intergalactic Federation, we urge Plenty For Me, and all member states, to commit to reduced, rather than increased, military activity and expenditure, and invest in improving the International Fleet instead.

Additionally, we strongly denounce the economic policies of Plenty For Me locally, particularly the recent decision to abolish the minimum wage. We believe the people of Plenty For Me are oppressed and suffering under the current government, and urge our ally to reconsider its domestic economic policy. We condemn these current policies in the strongest of terms.
