Draft of treaty of Nice

This treaty and protocol signed by both parties considered at Nice June 28, 2024, here shall be from this day forward perpetual peace and friendship between The Compakt Repsublic on the one part, and The Co-prosperity world union on the other, their successors, their dominions and subjects respectively.

The high contracting parties shall devote their best attention to maintain, not only between themselves but, inasmuch as depends upon them, between all the states of Europe, that harmony and good understanding which are so necessary for their tranquillity.

Article I
All hostilities between the nations of the Compakt Repsublic and The Co-prosperity world union have henceforth ceased. All armies must return to their respective territories including those newly gained by each respective nation. There must begin a peaceful process of demobilization on the borders of each nation in cooperation with one another. Henceforth the state of war has ended

Article II
A pact of non-aggression between the states of the Compakt Repsublic and The Co-prosperity world union will be enforced for the foreseeable future, preventing the same conflict from reigniting yet again. This pact will prevent either nation from participating in acts of war against one another with the threat of international condemnation.

Article III
The territories of Savoy, Piemonte, The entirety of the Swiss provinces, and Württemberg, being claims of the Compakt Repsublic, are hereby annexed by said nation. Said territories are henceforth entirely under the sovereignty of the Compakt Repsublic and may be maintained in any way as long as it is in accordance with pre-existing international law.

Article IV
The territories of Corsica, being seized by The Co-prosperity world union, are hereby annexed by said nation. Said territories are henceforth entirely under the sovereignty of Greater France and may be maintained in any way as long as it is in accordance with pre-existing international law.

Article V
The territories of Emilia Romagna, Toscana, Abruzzo, and Lazio, with the exception of the state of the Holy Sea, are hereby formed into a new nation that will be known as "The Sister Republic of Italy" Said territories are henceforth entirely under the sovereignty of the new nation established. This new nation will be administrated with assistance from The Co-prosperity world union and the policies of The Co-prosperity world union regarding said nation will be considered legal unless contested by the population of The Sister Republic of Italy via a plebiscite vote. The new nation may not hold a plebiscite for the next five (5) years after French occupation begins.

Article VI
The Compakt Repsublic henceforth agrees to respect the hegemony of The Co-prosperity world union over the territories above-mentioned and hereby agrees not to interfere in any Franco-Italian affairs in the territories above-mentioned without the express approval of The Co-prosperity world union consulate.

Article VII
French Subjects, Natives of the ceded Territories, actually domiciled on that Territory, who shall preserve their Nationality, shall up to the 1st October 2025, and on their making a previous Declaration to that effect to the Competent Authority, be allowed to change their domicile into The Co-prosperity world union and to remain there, that right in nowise infringing on the Laws on Military Service, in which case the title of French Citizen shall be maintained. They shall be at liberty to preserve their Immovables situated in the Territory ceded to the Compakt Repsublic. No Inhabitant of the ceded Territory shall be prosecuted, annoyed, or sought for, either in his person or his property, on account of his Political or Military Acts previous to the War.

Article VIII
A free state of Nice shall be established in the province of Nice. Said state will be immune from both French and Compkat influence and interference. Said state shall maintain sovereignty and the rights of trade in perpetuity. Any infringement on this nation's sovereignty by either party shall be considered an act of illegal war. This nation shall be an elected pluralistic representative democracy whose first council should be composed of 2 citizens of Nice elected, 4 dignitaries from Greater France, and 4 dignitaries of the Compakt Repsublic. Travel to and fro this nation shall not be prevented and its borders shall never be closed unless by vote by Nice itself. The new nation shall be the location for further meetings between the two French and Compakt nations as to prevent further disagreements and wars.

Article IX
The payment of 500,000,000 francs (1/2 milliard) shall be made to the Compakt Repsublic within 30 days after the signing of the treaty. 1,000,000,000 francs (I milliard) shall be paid in the course of the year, and 500,000,000 francs ( 1/2 milliard) on the 1st May 2025. The last 3,000,000,000 francs (3 milliards) shall remain payable on the 2nd March 2030, as stipulated in the Preliminary Treaty. From the 2nd March of the present year, the Interest on those 3,000,000,000 francs (3 milliards) shall be paid each year on the 3rd March, at the rate of .5 percent per annum.
