Hello everyone! The Ministry of Culture is introducing an exciting Trivia Tuesday with a fun NS and Pi(e)-themed quiz! The quiz consists of 10 questions which you will find them down below! 6) Pi is an irrational number that is commonly shortened to 3.14 and PI day is therefore celebrated on the 14th of March. But there is also a Pi-approximation day. What is the date for that special day?
7) Pi is not the only irrational number. What is the name of the transcendental number that is the base of the natural logarithm?
8) What is the name of the practice of memorizing large numbers of digits of π. Is it:
a) Piphilology
b) Piphilography

9) Pi is not only an irrational number, it’s a letter in the Greek alphabet. Name five other letters in the Greek alphabet!
10) Do you like pies? Well, I do! Down below there are descriptions of three different kinds of pies. What are their names?
A) A savoury pie with a layer of diced lamb cooked with onions and carrots (and either a gravy or tomato based sauce), topped with a mashed potato crust.
B) An icon of the USA, this pie traditionally consists of just 5 ingredients - egg yolk, graham cracker crumbs, butter, condensed milk and most importantly, juice from a citrus found in Florida.
C) A sweet pie of English origin filled with a mixture of fruit, spices and suet, traditionally served at Christmas.
