The Constitution of Synagogue.
Outlined here is the intended purpose of Synagogue as of creation and as of later. This may change throughout time as things change.

The prime purpose of Synagogue is to be a center of Jewish community on NationStates. Most of if not all people there are not rabbis though. We do however strive to give resources to those who need them. Synagogue is not structured to hold something like Shabbat services, but instead is moreso set up to be a community for Jewish people on NationStates.

Who is a Jew?

Being Jewish is being part of a ethnoreligious group, so if you are religiously Jewish, we view you as equal to a ethnic Jew.

We do not view Messianic Judaism as authentic Judaism however. We will not discriminate and kick you out for being either, but we will be adamant that we do not view Messianic Judaism as actual Judaism

Not being Jewish religiously should be permitted, but proselytizing for another religion shouldn't be accepted.

Diplomacy

Synagogue should not participate in general military gameplay as to be open to all Jews regardless of gameplay politics.

Synagogue should not open embassies with hate associated regions, including fascist regions, regardless if they are Jewish or not.

Synagogue should open embassies with established regions, but those that are embassy collectors must have some semblance of a government and community.

Any regions found justifying fascism or antisemitism will have no association with Synagogue. This includes allowing fascist nations.

Resources

The Synagogue should work on giving resources for those interested in Judaism (but should not proselytize), resources should be unbiased if and when possible and if there is a case of where there's denomination difference, other resources from other denominations.

Regional Roles

The region shall be lead by the Chief Synagogue Officer (CSO from now on), the CSO shall be the highest position and should be held by someone who has contributed to Synagogue and the Jewish community of NationStates as a whole. The CSO does not have to be qualified to be a rabbi but must be Jewish and shall be chosen by the previous CSO. There are no regulations on the CSO and they may change how things run at anytime except for cases that include destroying the region.

Purpose

The purpose of Synagogue is to be a community of Jewish people on NationStates, not divided by gameplay politics.
