The Imperial Institute for Historical Study and Conservation

✹ Established by the Order of the Emperor, on the personal request / proposition of the former Cancellarius, the Imperial Institute for Historical Study and Conservation is a prestigious civilian agency responsible for keeping together the expansive lore and countless interpersonal stories that have formed over a span of more than a decade of the Fifth Empire's existence. The Imperial Institute for Historical Study and Conservation is therefore the presiding organizational authority on all questions regarding the established identity, traditions and cultural and generational continuity of the Fifth Empire, and works to ensure that the Fifth Empire remains in-tune with its own spirit in the face of temporal challenges.

✹ The Institute is lead and overseen by the office of the Master Historian, accorded exclusively to the former long-time Minister of Truth and Head of Government of the Fifth Empire, currently the oldest consecutively active account in the Fifth Empire, Atsuria. The Position of Master Historian is formally designated as a Special Citizen Office [SCO] which is not a part of the standard ideological-political / governmental structure of the Fifth Empire, liaisons directly with the the Emperor and holds independent powers to pursue and execute the functions of the Institute according to their best judgment; subject only to consultation with the Emperor or the Constellation in the Emperor's stead. The Rest of the internal supportive structure is work-in-progress and will be clarified and expanded upon. Plenty of opportunities are made available for interested individuals to contribute to the solemn remembrance of our past struggles, triumphs and noteworthy personalities.

✹ The Institute is responsible for running several projects that pertain to its functions, all currently active or pending programs are listed below alongside their particular details;

1. The Imperial History Codex and the Off-Site Content Repository / Archives.

> Originally proposed by Cancellarius-initiative #4 of 2022 (page=poll/p=184597), the Imperial History Codex aims to compile a full narrative overview of the long journey of the Fifth Empire from its conception to the ongoing post-Atsuria leadership era. Work on the codex was put on hold following the surprise resignation of the Cancellarius on 4th of May 2022 and due to priorities elsewhere, was kept in hibernation waiting for a better moment. Now, after a little over a year we have decided to return to this task and deliver it to the FSA as it was first intended. The Codex will combine professional historical methodology with stylistic writing and rhetoric, inside jokes etc. for added entertainment / humor value. The Codex will be completed in several phases over the course of a long period of time. The First phase will be be announced later, and will consist of preliminary advertising for the project and cross-regional enlistment of contributors. Staff of the project will be allocated to three different teams;

1. The Project Coordinators Team (Primary Atsuria, Secondary Triskelions)

- Will delineate the dynamics and details of practical work, delegate tasks and responsibilities, provide guidance and instructions, review work etc. Project Coordinators are responsible for announcing, opening and closing the different phases of the project, communicating progress to the public and acting as intermediaries between the various staff personnel. Project Coordinators will also do any of the work done by the Editorial Team and the Contributive Team.

2. The Editorial Team. (Santa Monica Order, + vacancies)

- Responsible for drafting / helping to draft a cohesive literary presentation from the snippets and pieces of raw data provided by the contributive team. Good writing and communicative skills are required in addition to having eye for connecting separate dots. Staff on the Editorial Team can also do any of the work also done by the Contributive Team.

3. The Contributive Team. (vacancies)

-Responsible for procuring and submitting raw material from multiple sources to the Content Depository. They may also give interviews and statements. Historical familiarity with the Fifth Empire / FSA is required and those with older active accounts are preferred.

2. The Imperial Community Knowledge Quiz. (Priority as of 24.2.2024)
