The Containment Organization for the Research of Paranormal and Supernatural Entities (CORPSE) is an international organization, operating with immunity from many nation's governments, and without the knowledge of many more, within Valsora. CORPSE is dedicated to the discovery, containment, and research of paranormal and supernatural entities. Entities kept by CORPSE are indexed as CORPSE-###, rather than named explicitly. All CORPSE entities, regardless of the appearance or perceived sentience thereof, are referred to with the pronoun "it." The names and locations of CORPSE researchers, task forces, and sites are expunged from all CORPSE documents, lending to the organization's status as a secret society.
