Brief Histroy Of the Kings

What makes a kindom renowed?
It is a great leader? if so then Jaddia was host to multiple strong men throughout its history who ruled with great wisdom and judgment.
Is it supporting science and the arts? If so then King Abshun put Balawah on the map for his funding of the canal that sits north of the realm.
Is it great military victories over the enemies of the kingdom? If it is then Balawah is not renowned, but merely a petty squabbling kingdom fighting a border nation, that of Dawlat Akhdar.
Throughout its history, Many different kings of many different times have sought to answer the question of what makes a kingdom renowned. Through unity and brotherhood said, king Jad. King Jad a bastard son of a duke rose from his humble origins and created a new kingdom, a kingdom of Balawah, no longer the fiefdoms of the land known as Balawah but the kingdom of Balawah. His new kingdom was born out of need, not to repel an invader but to crush famine. King Jad then known as the Jad Barashnara, seized the small coastal state of Lashmani by force and a coup by infiltration of the palace guard. After seizing the Lashmani state Jad would call for action the petty fiefdoms in his presence, uniting them to assist in ending the famine that plagued the land, as well as create the kingdom through this new union.

King Jad set a hard expectation to follow but for most parts, his heirs have attempted to live up to his legend in many ways. King Riashi Jad's brother would succeed Jad would work on building various trade centers, ports, and other works, which set the foundation for a strong flowing trade economy in Balawah for future generations.

After Raishi passed due to a heart attack, King Jad II, Or the lesser. Jad the Lesser would work on creating a strong agricultural base and a law student himself would work on making the Balawah legal system. This legal system would propose an imperial court, where jurors would solve disputes between the people and enforce the law. All members of the Jury must have been graduates of accepted law schools. Though being a fair and just king in his own right Jad the second is often seen as not living up to the expectations of his father or Uncle.

King Kalatoni would become king after his father Jad the Second would retire in his older years, giving control of the kingdom to the power-hungry son Kalatoni. As a graduate of the Yorshortka military college, he would seek to rid his kingdom of petty kings and centralize the state. King Kalatoni would first modernize and maintain a standing army of Balawah. By rigging the Imperial court, military overthrow, and using a spy group he would centralize the state making all local kings irrelevant and landless. all authority of Balawah centralized around the Jad Dynasty. This being his main concern throughout his 40-year reign, nobody would be able to contest royal authority, making a foundation of the centralized state we see today.

King Kalatoni in his elder years would have his heir die by disease making the heir of the Kingdom a 6-year-old. Thus a regency had to be used to maintain stability and grand Regent Kadan Farran would rule the country for 15 years. Kadan being an advisor in Kalatoni's court would realize that while fear and might may centralize a state but is not a recipe for long-term stability. So grand Regent Kadan Farran would begin creating a national identity, he rename the capital Of Balwah to Jaddia after the legendary king. He patronized artists for national symbols and colors, which resulted in the Purple and yellow flag of today, and the national seal the national animal. He enforced a national curriculum at schools to destroy local nationalism. He defined the national traditions and ideas, adapting some local customs but mostly worked on breaking what he called "Localism" or "Identity in the local community". He did not just take but he gave as well any governors who worked with the government in creating and enforcing the national identity would see their coffers fill up with royal patronage. Regent Jadan Farran would at 46 years of age resign from the government as King Hamid would reach the age of 21.

There are many kings that follow but their paths would be easy as a legal system, a centralized kingdom, a national culture and a foundation of agriculture and trade would make the aspirations of kings following the regent Farran's rule easy to complete. For the past few kings, the country Has grown significantly, in traditions, economy, and Law. King Malek, basher, Noori, and Quadri would successfully maintain the kingdom in their rules not adding much significant changes but still being practical and sufficient rulers of the realm.

Now the Crown rests and King Youseff the thinker the 10th king to reign the kingdom is the most qualified in the role as he has studied hard at all levels of school earning himself honors and degrees through hard work and knowledge. Now with skill in economics, politics, liberal arts, and Law. King Youseff the Thinker has promised the people and himself he will break the mold of the past kings and carve his name in Balawahli history.
