Rule 1* - Any discriminating behavior is unwelcome. This includes mocking, insulting, belittling, or harassing another player based on their race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, age, disability, national origin, or political views.

Rule 2 - Promoting other regions is allowed within reason.

Rule 3 - Advocating real-life genocide or real-life terrorism is strictly prohibited.

Rule 4 - Respect the feelings of others. If someone asks you to stop doing something, stop. Exceptions apply.

Rule 1 - The map works on a first-come, first-serve basis. We don't have applications currently, so simply ask for an unclaimed spot on the RMB!

Rule 1.5 - I'll be using mapchart and historical mapchart for the regional map. Because of this, claims must correspond roughly to IRL borders.

Rule 2 - No using tech before its time. For example, you cannot have ICBMs in the 1910s.

Rule 3 - Every nation claimed must have some level of IRL precedent. For example, you may ask to play as Khorezm or as a Dutch-speaking South Africa, but not as an Islamic caliphate in the middle of Mexico. A Dutch-speaking Guyana would also be acceptable, but a Dutch-speaking Kazakhstan would not be accepted.

Rule 4 - No space colonies, space mining, alien invaders, massive natural disasters, global pandemics (without regionwide approval), or time travel. No landing on exoplanets. Also, draining oceans, seas or large lakes is not allowed.

Rule 5 - No roleplaying the actions of others without their permission.

Rule 6 - No godmodding, especially in wartime (disputes will be handled by moderation if the players cannot come to an agreement).

Rule 7 - Small secondary claims are allowed and may be gained the same way as your original claim. Larger secondary claims are allowed with permission.

Rule 8 - Claim switching is allowed within reason. Excessive claim switching won't be permitted to avoid creating chaos in the regional RP. This will be handled on a case-by-case basis.

Rule 9 - Roleplaying genocides, war crimes, or acts of terror in such a way that violates OOC Rule 3 will be treated as a violation of OOC Rule 3.

Rule 10 - In the event that you win a war or a confrontation, land may be annexed if it can be done reasonably. For example, a failed British invasion of Switzerland does not entitle Switzerland to occupy Wales, but a successful British invasion of China may entitle the British to take over Hong Kong or some other port.

Rule 11 - You must have permission to have significant dealings with or inavde a NPC (Non-Player Country), an unclaimed area of the map. If someone claims the NPC, your roleplay will no longer be canon without their approval.
