The Mariette Steel Corporation, or MSC for short, is a large heavy industrial firm headquartered in Mariette, Watkins, Belantica, specializing in the production, research, and implementation of steel products, and the development of new armored tracked vehicles for use by Belantica's military forces.

Business Units
MSC operates under several different business units. The most commonly known division of the corporation is their Steel Production division, with sales mostly going towards large-scale construction projects and supplying manufacturers with several various grades of steel to be turned into products. The Rail Supply division is the division that specifically handles orders and production of steel to be used as rails, working closely with their partners and clients to ensure high-grade steel is produced and delivered to the customer's specifications. MSC Defense produces and sells military-grade armored vehicles, most notably to the Royal Belantic Army and the Royal Self Defense Forces.

History
MSC was founding on June 14, 1876 by Mariette industrialists George Stonzi, Friedrich Koebel, Patrick Coulle, and Lesie Mawr. Stonzi and Coulle both owned other steel mills within the Mariette area during this time. However, with the amount of industrial activity that was growing in Mariette during the 1870's, neither Stonzi or Coulle had the means on their own to rapidly expand steel production within their own respective companies. This also drew the attention of Koebel, who was at the time the Head Procurement Agent for the Albany Central Railroad, with an understanding that steel production in Belantica was not on a large enough scale to meet the needs of both traditional industrial customers, and the rapidly growing rail network. Initial discussions were started in 1874 on how to best resolve the issue, however niether Stonzi or Coulle wanted to merge into one another's company due to disputes regarding the name of the new theoretical organization. In 1875, Mawr entered into the "think tank" for the steel issue facing Belantica, and proposed that both Stonzi and Coulle should merge their companies together under a new name and adopting the latest practices for steel. Eventually, both Stonzi and Coulle agreed to this proposal, while Koebel insisted that the new company needed to construct an entirely new facility and either repurpose or decommission the older facilities. In the same year, Mawr was able to negotiate with the city of Mariette to purchase several adjacent parcels of land along the waterfront to construct a new facility from the ground up, with both direct access to the city's harbor and to the various railroads operating out of the city. The final plans were drawn up and signed in February 1876, with MSC officially forming and commencing operations in June of that year. By the summer of 1877, the new facility was finished and officially opened.

Presence
MSC has a large presence within its home country of Belantica: almost all of the steel used locally for manufacturing, railways, and construction is sourced from MSC. Long of the longest running business partnerships the company maintains is with the Lancet-Deckard Automobile Group, who used MSC exclusively for all of their domestic manufacturing operations. In addition, all railroads maintain contracts with MSC either to supply new rail for new ROWs, or partake in track rehabilitation efforts.
