Wintercrest - TFPU Treaty of Friendship and Alliance

Preamble:

This treaty establishes that the regions of The Free Peoples Union and the People’s Constitutional Republic of Wintercrest officially declare friendship and alliance between themselves.


ARTICLE I: Diplomatic Recognition of Parties

This Article dictates that,

  1. The Free People’s Union, as established by the Regional Constitution for The Free People's Union and any legitimate successor to it, is recognized as the legitimate government by the People’s Constitutional Republic of Wintercrest

  2. People’s Constitutional Republic of Wintercrest, as established by the Constitution of the People’s Constitutional Republic of Wintercrest and any legitimate successor to it, is recognized as the legitimate government by the Free People’s Union

  3. The People’s Constitutional Republic of Wintercrest and the Free People’s Union shall henceforth be referred to as the “Parties”


ARTICLE II: Mutual Defense Pact

This Article dictates that,

  1. The Parties shall defend each other, akin to a mutual defense pact.

    1. Intelligence shall be shared by both parties when it comes to possible attacks or for the planning of attacks.

  2. A Regional Defense and Indicator System and Evacuation Plans shall be perfected and shared by both parties

    1. A Regional Defense System shall be defined as systems that are built to have a backup plan and a shock plan for possible raids/attacks, as well as a protocol to follow in such an event

    2. An Indicator System shall be defined as risk assessments that can portray how much chance there is of an attack on one or more of the parties

    3. An Evacuation Plan shall be defined as a protocol to follow should either of the parties be occupied by a hostile entity.


ARTICLE III: Regional Policy

This Article dictates that,

  1. The Parties shall share successful regional policies in regards both to defense policy, foreign policy and internal policy.

  2. The Parties shall have conferences at most once a month and at minimum once every three months and have closely knit foreign policy, in regards to debate and to adoption of foreign policy.

  3. The Parties shall uphold continuous diplomatic relations between them for as long as this pact is in place.

  4. Neither Party may knowingly enter diplomatic relationships with fascist, Nazist, or otherwise alt-right regions and organizations.


ARTICLE IV: Friendship and Non-Agression

This Article dictates that,

  1. The Parties may not invade, raid, coup or support any of these actions aimed against one another or against any territory under their jurisdiction.

  2. The Parties may not commit espionage or any other subversive actions against one another or against any territory under their jurisdiction.

  3. Each Party shall take reasonable diplomatic measures to prevent their respective allies from becoming militarily hostile to the other Party.

  4. Parties may not sign treaties involving any other military provisions other than non-aggression and mutual defense with regions openly hostile to a Party.

  5. The Parties are obliged to jointly host at least one regional event every three months.

  6. Each Party will be required to send at least one regional representative to all events that a party may host.


ARTICLE V: Repeal and Amendments

This Article dictates that,

  1. At any time, either Party may suggest amendments to this pact. Should the respective Heads of State for the Parties agree, the amendment shall go by legal ways as outlined in laws of respective parties.

  2. At any time, either Party may decide to repeal and abolish this pact. Upon notification to the other Party of such a repeal, this pact shall be immediately repealed.

  3. Repeal of this pact shall not be seen as an act of hostility and shall not dictate closure of relations.
