Sports

The Slide Countries has a football tournament - the Slide Countries Football World Cup - in the way of sports. Founded by The belacian states in 2020, it features first a group stage, in which a win is +3 points, and a draw is +1. After that, the top winners from each category participate in an elimination tournament to the top. Current champions include Aussandries, Norskas and Specimen.

The Sliding Post

In March 2022, The Night's Plutonian Shore of Ostrovskiy created the first regional newspaper: the Sliding Post.

Presidents

After The Slide Countries adopted a presidential system, The Proud Socialist States of Orennica dominated the office for a while, generally with The glorious state of corbyn as Vice-President, despite challenges from the SCCP, SDP, Casual/Causal Party, and other Pairti Cle members.

Finally, The Night's Plutonian Shore of Ostrovskiy became the first non-Pairti Cle President, representing the SCCP, with The isle of tinland taking the vicepresidency. And, in 2022, following the passage of the Assembly Suspension Act, The belacian states became President (appointing Utrechtse Gewest as his VP) under the campaign slogan #backbelac, after The Night's Plutonian Shore of Ostrovskiy dropped out of the race.

Presidential Awards, Commendations, and Condemnations
Presidents can hand out awards for notable citizens, as well as commendations and condemnations for the behavior inside their nation. These awards can be for reasons ranging from "for their long service and especially their outstanding cultural reports of the region" to "serving the region for the most amount of time as its WA Delegate" (
