Factions of Zeiling

The Left
The Revolutionary
Reka Benes was not an ordinary communist, especially for the East. A syndicalist at heart, Reka was born in the Slovakian metropolis of Bratislava to a large proportion of wealth. Working in the car manufacturing industry like his father before him, the young man came up on hard times during the first world war, as newer restrictions in the Hungarian kingdom on the production of cars severely hampered his ability to produce anything. Around this time he came across the works of Georges Sorel and became a firm believer of national syndicalism. Applying his theories to production of motor vehicles turned out to work wonderfully for the young entrepreneur.
Now Reka pursues such revolution across numerous regions of Zeiling under the Zeilingian Worker's Party, as a way to unify the divided populace. Contrary to those on the left, Reka has no keen liking to the The Neo-Soviet Empire or many of the authoritarian socialists. His popularity among worker unions exceed measurement and he will likely use this as a way to pressure the Zeilingian government into admission. Staunch militarists however, have oppose such moves, and have threatened various officials in the event of collaboration with the syndicalist.

The stalinist
By many accounts, Mátyás Rákosi was a very traditional communist. His vision seemed bleak when compared to that of Reka Benes, but to many, the vision seemed the only practical option for the pseudo-nationalist nation. Indeed, his policies in Transdubia, especially that of collectivisation had proven incredibly successful. Even after the fall up to Budaresa, the economy under his reign suffered little depreciation. The agricultural advancements in management and production have led to a policy of self sufficiency for the province. Indeed with his ability to negotiate foreign capital especially that of the The Neo-Soviet Empire has found great prosperity for its cities and fields. Running under the Zeilingian party of the proletariat, Mátyás hopes to unite Zeiling by promoting agricultural self sufficiency and various modernisations to the manufacturing environment of Zeiling

The Liberal
Anton Korošec was no stranger to political conflict. Only recently, he witnessed his party split by those in support of the Zeilingian republic and those who sought to dissolve it, accusing it of autocratic rule. Korosec was hopeful though. No doubt, if the federation dissolved, it could mean the ZNRF or worse yet, the mad general. His platform of reform produced much support in the higher to middle classes and provided a suitable alternative to nationalist in the ethnic minorities throughout the federation. He realised one thing however, if Zeiling did not have democracy, it would damage the Balkans more than any Austrian ever could. Supporting various social welfare programs and acting as a proponent of Government intervention in the economy, he runs under the Zeiling Welfare and Liberty party.

The Idealist
Aleksei Gastev was no stranger to chaos. Only months ago he fled the The Neo-Soviet Empire in order to avoid persecution for his avant-garde works. In his many years of chaos however, he has realised one thing. Socialism was not a gurantee of stability as he once thought it was. Believing in this he promoted an idea of a technological singularity and beginning to question the anti-intellectualism present in the The Neo-Soviet Empire, The democrat has begun looking for rather standard forms of running on a platform of lower taxes, less government regulation, and technological accelarationism under the banner of the Evolution Party.

The Nationalists
The great war was a disaster. But for some, it was an opportunity. Hungarian officers had often been hindered by the royal regency, endless beauracracy, and governance that was more well known of its failures than successes. The dual monarchy was put in place in order to appease Hungarian nationalism. It however, was only a deterrent. An action to slow down the eventual creation of a Hungarian nation state, that spanned from the Danube to the Carpathian mountains. A Hungarian state free of Bolshevik influence, and free of dependence on foreign powers. This was the mantra spoken in the Party of the Retribution. Built upon upending the treaty of Trianon and restarting the Magyarisation of key ethnic groups in the confederation, the party had little support outside of the Hungarian demographic. Nevermind the Hungarian demographic was the largest in the federation.

The Madman
Zeilingian politics rested on a single question. What reforms were needed to keep it together? Miklós
Horthy
had an entirely different question to ask. How could Austria Hungary return? He did not aim to do this in any particular fashion apart from strong authoritarianism. In fact, this is why he was referred to as the 'iron fist'. Ironically his fists were particularly deformed after a naval accident on the Adriatic coast. His dream of a new Austro-Hungarian Kingdom was heavily based upon the theories of Karl the first, whereby the Empire would be devolved into smaller kingdoms. The Archduchy of Illyria, Archduchy of greater Morrawia, Archduchy of Transylvania, Grand archduchy of Hungary and the grand Archduchy of Austria. Focusing on a policy of nationalistic Christianity and antidemocratic and anti-Communist policies, in order to strengthen the autocracy, and suppress any dissent to his rule. In terms of democratic thinking, he considered freedom of speech as a privilege, and was prepared to act against any who dared to speak out against the rule of his state. Working with key companies executives, and tossing the labour minded ones out of the picture, Horthy has great influence in the corpratist scene of Zeiling

The Iron fist works as in a coalition with the ZNLF, and commands undying loyalty to him and his cause.
