The Emazian Option: Strength in Progress

I'm a man of clear ideas, of straight words and of blunt thoughts. As you can probably tell, this isn't very well-decorated. This is intentional. I want to make it clear that I don't throw flourishes and rainbows and whatever at people to be sparkly and all "relatable." No. That's not me. I'm someone who fights, who fights tough and who'll get things done rather than just paint flowers and colours everywhere.

I have made it clear since the beginning of my entry in politics that I oppose the complacency and rot that's created by the Thaecian Consensus: the idea that our institutions are somehow unquestionable and must not be changed. I am very much opposed to conservative and reactionary politics, and believe that we must move forward through embracing the ideas of the future. I am a visionary and I am a progressive, someone who will bear the standard of moving forward.

Let me make it clear that I am of staunch disagreement with those who say that we must stay where we are, that we must exist in complacency and live in reticence. I support an all citizens' legislature. I support proportional representation and I support an elected court. I am a progressive, and I am proud of it, no matter what my counterparts might say. My participation in the Party of Thaecian Democracy (originally the Radical Party of Thaecia) is a show of my commitment towards the principles of direct democracy, towards the supremacy of the people and towards the devolution of power downwards rather than upwards. I believe that a more democratic system is possible.

My motto is clear, and stands for what I, and the great mass of people who continue to clamour for reform, believe in: Strength in Progress.
