Background:
Riachuelo High is a Private High school founded in the Early 1920s by Austro-Germanic Immigrant Stefan Cattini under the name Austro-Germanic School of Saint Paul in the small city of Riachuelo, located on the outskirts of São Paulo.
During the Iron War, the school was seized by the government to serve as an Army Training Center and remained as such until the mid-1950s, when the property was returned to the Cattini family. The facility was promptly re-converted into a high school, taking the name of the city it's based as its own.
The culture of Sensha-do in the school comes from its time as an Army Base, seeing that even prior to the arrival of the sport in the country several re-enactments and tank demonstrations were held in the school. Today the school hosts one of the strongest Sensha-do Teams in the country, as well as following the Paulistian Tank Doctrine of the Iron War almost to the letter. They favor a highly aggressive and disciplined play style, which has notably worked to their detriment when faced with opponents skilled with ambush tactics.
