Official Court Ruling On Prohibiting Referendums With The Intent To Remove Inactive Councillors

After the recent controversy regarding the removal of a Councillor, shortly before the end of their term, Councillor Stretchington requested a ruling on whether a legislation prohibiting such a process would be constitutional.

The Tribunal hereby declares that:
-Legislation that would prohibit recalling Councillors from office for inactivity, in the last two weeks of their term, to be constitutional.

The Tribunal clarifies:
-That it advises against the legislation, as it may create further legal disputes and it is too fixated on resolving the current situation.
