[align=justify][font=Avenir, Segoe UI][size=120]The at-vote resolution, "Protecting the Rights of Labour Unions", is intended to serve as replacement for the recently repealed [url=page=WA_past_resolution/council=1/id=530][color=#ff9900][b]GA 530 "Fairness in Collective Bargaining"[/b][/color][/url]. The concerns raised in the original repeal, mostly of vagueness and arising loopholes undermining the actual intent, have been addressed adequately by the proposal at hand, once again guaranteeing labour unions to be free from interference by the respective employers and maintaining workers' freedoms to associate with a union. Joining previous WA legislation, this will serve as vital pillar of the protection of workers' rights. Thus, OWL recommends a vote FOR the at-vote resolution, "Protecting the Rights of Labour Unions".[/size][/font][/align][/box]
