The Winter Navy (TWN)

The Winter Navy


Flag Meaning

The Winter Navy’s flag was created to honor the branches legacy and beliefs with the anchor symbol representing the ships that served in the navy. The branches under the anchor mean a moments peace, this is when the navy experiences a time of no conflict. The blue represents the ocean, the white represents a clear mind, and the green represents harmony amongst all things.


Brief History

The Winter Navy is built off the beliefs of intelligence and cunning which stems back to its roots in 1781 when it was a merchant organization being hired by the government to protect the shores of the nation. During this time the navy fought off many invasions from foreign powers like Britain by using misinformation tactics to slowly destroy enemy vessels that fell for the tricks. By 1826, well into the industrial revolution and the invention of steam powered ships, then President Elliot Yucca began to reward the merchant navy for its duties for protecting Charggeria. He even began directly funding the merchant navy with government funds. For a time it look as if the merchant navy was a official branch of the military. However, it wasn’t until 1833, when the merchant navy was officially made a branch of the military. And by 1834 the merchant navy changed its name to the Winter Navy to honor the snow and the northern glaciers of Siberia.

The Noble Class

The Noble Class is our newest medium size aircraft carrier program started on October 18th 2017. The CNS Heaven is the first Noble Class ship to set sail. The Noble Class compared to our previous ships has several innovations over its predecessors in the Winter navy like improve storage, radar systems, and weapon systems.

The Manchurian Class

On May, 24th 1984, A massive naval skirmish happened between the Winter Navy and the United States Navy near Alaska. It lasted for a couples hours before both sides settled for peace. Many officials in the WN and government were embarrassed and paranoid at the event. Many went on to blame the INAT (The International Naval Arms Treaty) which Charggeria signed for the navys defeat. The call for the nation to leave the treaty grew louder and louder within the military . Until December 19th, 1984 when Charggeria announced that it will be leaving the treaty. After leaving the treaty many began analyzing the defeat of the WN during the skirmish. It became obvious that the WN lacked a powerful carrier ship that could back up it’s battleships in a battle. Thus began a new super carrier program sometime in mid 1985. By 1989, Charggeria first super carrier was shown to the public and eventually commissioned into the WN. The ship preformed better than many expected leading to the WN placing orders for 2 more carrier ships of this class. It quickly became one of the best aircraft carriers to ever be commissioned into the WN due to its firepower, great storage, and tech. Additionally, it could also help the marines during naval invasions. Even to this day the class is still one of the best in the WN only being narrowly beaten out by the Noble Class.

Battleships

The Navoro Class


To replace the aging Monroe Class battleships, the WN began looking for new potential battleships to commission into the fleet. Multiple ship designs were proposed but none compared to the proposed N Class battleship design. Its medium size hull, and compact design for a battleship made it stand out from the rest. This meant the ship would be more maneuverable in battle and be cheaper to operate.

The Koralin Class

Back in 2010, TWN wanted a fleet of powerful, easily manufacturable battleships. That’s where the Koralin Class came in. The idea was immediately accepted by the TWN and after two weeks began preparing for the construction of the ship. The ships in the class are relatively cheap by our standards but maintain a strong arsenal of weapons and heavy armor.

Destroyers

The Tesla Class


Back in 1996, the Tesla Class destroyer was envisioned by many to be a modern day take on a destroyer and give many in the navy a taste of what the future had to offer. The Tesla Class was meant to achieve many things but due to the cost overruns and the scope of the project being to big it was scaled down to two things. Those two are securing shipping routes and quickly destroy enemy ships while in stealth. It accomplishes these goals through its advanced weapons systems and stealth systems which makes it one of the best destroyer classes in the navy.
