The Kendell National Football Team was originally founded in 1999 by the newly created Kendell International Sporting Commission (KISC). The team would go on to participated in the 2002 to 2018 FIFA World Cup and the Summer Olympics from 2000 to 2020. Thought the team was widely popular in Kendell it never won a World Cup or Olympic Medal. In 2021 the team was disbanded by Congress on the grounds that the team was considered one of the worst teams in the sport and that it was a burden on the tax payers. After 4 years, the team would be re-founded in 2025 by the request of President Chris Chanceux. To guarantee that the team was a worthwhile expense the FISC recruited Kendell Football players and coaches from the Major Kendellian League of Football (MKLF), the national league of Kendell. Their first test was in 2028 Summer Olympics where the team would go on to win The Bronze Olympic Medal. From then on the team would be a large and semi-difficult competitor in the FIFA World Cups and Olympics.

[anchor=Blu]Football Stadium[/anchor]

The KNFT originally played in Parade Field which was built in 1989 for K℈569 million for the National Football team the Plakai Pelicans. They moved out in 1998 and the newly created KNFT needed a stadium so the government bought the stadium for K℈500 million and made it the home for the team. When the team disbanded in 2021, Parade Field was demolished due to its age and its waste of tax payers money. In 2025 when the team was hinted by Congress of returning a new stadium needed to built for the team. So the national government allocated K℈5 billion for the largest and most technological stadium to that date. The stadium would not be finished until the next year so for that time they would play in the Pelicans stadium: Angelic Field. In 2026, the team for the first time play in the stadium.

(Left) Parade Field / (Right) Angelic Field[/box][/floatright]

The stadium was originally named Jubilee Field but later took its nickname Blue Diamond Field. The name was created for the stadium's look as it was blue and had the shape of a diamond. When the stadium's location was picked engineers were worried due to its proximity to Mirage Bay, the bay off of Plakai City. They worried that if a tsunami or hurricane occurred it would flood the stadium and be permanently damaged. To fix this the engineering team placed the stadium on a giant concrete block to elevate it from 4.5 m (14.7 ft) above sea level to 36 m (118 ft) above sea level which made the stadium have a dug in foundation of 24 m (78.7 ft) into the concrete. This made stadium have one of the deepest foundations of any stadium in the world.

The stadium originally had a capacity of 106,789 people but later reduced it to 99,706 due to renovations in 2043 which added 4 (22 m by 49 m / 72 ft by 161 ft) screens in the stadium. In the sector of transportation it has a parking capacity of 18,000. The stadium also has its own subway and railway stations that not only serves the traveling of guests but also stadium equipment and food. The circular shape of the stadium also allows guests to enter and exit efficiently as it contains 20 entrances and exits from the stadium and over 40 entrances and exits from the parking lot. The average staff of the stadium on game day is 4,678 employees.

Some fun fact of the stadium are that the field is real grass. This became a problem when on the worst weathered game, during monsoon season, the field took 10 cm (3.94 in) of rain in a 2 hr period, which lead to the government renovating the field to have drains on the bottom to control the flow of water. The hottest game ever played was 37.11°C (98.8°F) and the coldest was 2.61°C (36.7°F). The stadium is also one of the loudest hitting on average 122 dB a game but has hit 131.4 dB which measured 1.1 on the Richter Scale. This is due to its dome-like structure. The stadium was also built to be carbon negative with it not only generating power through solar panels and hydroelectricity for itself but for Plakai City.
