Why is the Defense budget so b i g ?

The size and strength of the military of the North West Ruling State (NWRS) has been heavily focused on, mainly as a deterrent to any would-be invaders and to show off it’s great power. Despite having only a few neighbors, the NWRS’s army, navy, and air force continue to grow in size and technological might. Epelusia
