Dyfed Arden Oswald Synnove is the Prime Minister of Cielearda. He was born in Fægerloc, Andrearda, and moved to Cynesetle in time for the revolution. He went to a police academy in Dornwara and was a Police Constable for a year. He then left to become a teacher. After 3 years in teaching he became a unionist politician and eventually the Prime Minister. He was ousted from power by his deputy and went into hiding. After the deputy’s untimely death, he was reinstated as P.M and has since then helped reinstall in the Cieleardan Monarchy.

A few months after his birth, the Synnove’s moved to Cynesetle to be with Norman Synnove, who was working with the resistance at the time. There was a revolution, in which Norman was killed, and the family moved back to Dornwara. There, he was educated and became a Police Constable, but left due to personal reasons. He went into teaching, later becoming a teachers unionist, and finally, after the Civil War, became the Prime Minister. He proved to be very adept at his job, even in the face of initial disapproval by the citizenry.
Political Views
Synnove has been a Radicalist for his entire political career, and has advocated for more education funding and a decrease in military funding since he first got into politics.
Synnove has described himself as a ‘Reserved Protogeni’, often publicly mocking himself for not going to church often enough. He appears to favour a separation of Church and State, and has tried to avoid the topic of religion in political discussions.
According to the man himself, his hobbies include; football, birdwatching and walking in the countryside. Other than that, he says he doesn’t have much time to do anything other than work.
The name ‘Synnove’ is actually a feminine forename, the way it came about being his surname is unknown. ‘Arden’ is also a feminine name, but this was a joke on his father’s part, mocking the strange surname of the family.
Dyfed Synnove has publicly stated that he has ‘Mottephobia’, a distinct fear of moths. He has had this fear ‘as long as he can remember’, but he says that he doesn’t seem to have a fear of any other animals, apart from the obvious dangerous ones.
