Rules for conflicts in First Epitome United

Starting a war:

  1. In order to start a military conflict which affects international politics (not only a war), both parties need to mutually agree on its terms.

  2. "Parties" consist of all nations in a single side of a conflict and not only the main two nations.

  3. The administration must be informed about the conflict and must agree to it as well. They may add their own terms.

  4. Conflicts shall take place in a strategy game (or other in special circumstances) chosen consensually by both sides, with a single game (from now on called a match) for each goal fought over.

  5. Every player who's nation participates in the war must state all of their goals, but cannot state more than one goal if they are not going to take part in the game to fight for them themselves.

  6. Any country on any side of the conflict can decide to lower the amount of their goals during the war in order to end the war sooner.

  7. Matches for different goals do not have to happen the same day, but before any match begins, both parties must state which goals they are fighting for on that match on record.

  8. One proper match is a fight for at least one goal from each party.

  9. If the fighting parties have allies with their own goals, each fight must consist of one goal from each nation, but only once for a single goal.

  10. The whole game must be recorded.

  11. Every won game will add the success-points (SP) of the victor nation to their overall score.

  12. If multiple nations are on the winning side, they have to continue the game until a single winner is chosen so they can add their SP to their score.

  13. WMDs may be used in any war, which should change the mode of the game to some sort of "zombie mode" where additional AI is fighting against both players, with the possibility of both loosing. When that happens in any round, it is assumed that both sides faced a nuclear holocaust no matter their scores...

  14. In case if one side doesn't show up, the result will be defined by the SP of both sides with a favor of the side that did show up (tie = they win, loss = tie)

  15. The side with the bigger SP at the end of the conflict wins.

  16. The winner of the conflict has to write down a dispatch on the war and its outcome.

  17. All other actions (killing leaders for example), must be carried out through the regular mechanisms within the region (asking the other members and posting it in the RMB).

Defining SP of a nation:

Each nation has a base SP of 1 and cannot get a lower SP than 1.

  1. Predetermined stat (not on the list already) - top 10% +1 SP, top 5% +2 SP, top 1% +3 SP,

  2. Defense Forces - top 10% +1 SP, top 5% +2 SP, top 1% +3 SP,

  3. Arms manufacturing - top 10% +1 SP, top 5% +2 SP, top 1% +3 SP,

  4. Integrity - top 10% +1 SP, top 5% +2 SP, top 1% +3 SP,

  5. Scientific Advancement - top 10% +1 SP, top 5% +2 SP, top 1% +3 SP,

  6. Economy - top 10% +1 SP, top 5% +2 SP, top 1% +3 SP,

  7. Usage of WMDs +3 SP,

  8. Corruption - top 10% -1 SP, top 5% -2 SP, top 1% -3 SP,

  9. Pacifism - top 10% -1 SP, top 5% -2 SP, top 1% -3 SP,

  10. Primitiveness - top 10% -1 SP, top 5% -2 SP, top 1% -3 SP,

  11. Crime - top 10% -1 SP, top 5% -2 SP, top 1% -3 SP,

  12. Ignorance - top 10% -1 SP, top 5% -2 SP, top 1% -3 SP,

Addendum: World Rank and Regional Rank are both counted independently and both affect the SP.
