§1. Operations
i. Approval
a. All operations are to be approved by the Founder.
b. The DIR or the ADC must request this approval via telegram or Discord message.
c. The exception to the above is training missions, in designated training regions. Deployments to these regions do not require approval.
ii. Schedule
a. The JTF will alternate regularly between offensive and defensive operations. This oscillation is influenced by operation availability, outside requests for support, and Alliance needs.
b. The DIR may call for a leave period at any time.
c. During leave periods, all troops are to adhere to the Standing Orders.
iii. Outside organizations
a. The JTF may work in concert with other military organizations, with Founder approval.
b. The JTF will not cooperate on military operations with organizations on its Non-Cooperation list or the Alliance's Sanctioned Regions list.
iv. Colonies
a. Colonies are to be claimed in the name of the Alliance, and the point nation may be credited on the WFE.
b. No embassies are to be established, no password is to be imposed on the region, and the LinkJTF flag is to be used as the region's flag.
c. Colonies are to be maintained for exactly one year after initial capture. At that time, they are to be released. Regions captured with the cooperation of other organizations are an exception to this, and may be held indefinitely.

§2. Orders
i. Lawful orders
a. All military orders for the Active Division are to be issued by the DIR or the ADC via secure Discord channel or private message, and must be obeyed immediately. Access to this channel is restricted to Active Division members.
b. All military orders for the Reserve Squadron are to be issued by the DIR or the RSC via telegram, and must be obeyed as soon as possible.
c. Orders issued by telegram are to be sent from the issuing officer's main nation.
ii. Unlawful orders
a. Troops may not be ordered into action against any Alliance member region or outpost.
b. Troops may not be ordered to endorse any single nation in an Alliance member region.
c. All unlawful orders must be reported promptly to the Founder.
d. All orders issued by non-Officers are to be disregarded and reported promptly to the receiving member's immediate superior.
iii. Enforcement
a. Failing to obey orders within a reasonable time frame will result in a general court-martial on charges of failure to obey orders.
b. Issuing orders while not holding an officer rank, or initiating a non-training operation without authorization from the Founder, will result in a general court-martial on charges of mutiny.
iv. Standing Orders
a. Active Division troops not engaged in update operations for at least two consecutive updates must follow the Standing Orders as soon as possible.
b. Reserve Squadron troops must always be in compliance with the Standing Orders, unless they have received recent orders to provide support in an operation.
c. Standing Orders are as follows:
Move all your military nations to the JTF jump point.
Switch WA membership to your main nation in an Alliance member region. Reapply to join the WA with all your military nations, but do not rejoin.
Endorse all WA member nations in your region using the Resident Registry.
Continue to maintain the proper flag and military professionalism at all times.

§3. Membership
i. Enlistment process
a. New recruits must be cleared for enlistment by the ADC and placed on the roster before they are considered to be Cadets.
b. The Reserve Squadron makes up the piler force of the JTF, while the Active Division contains all update-capable members.
-Recruits unavailable for update or unable to access Discord will be added to the Reserve Squadron.
-All other recruits will be added to the Active Division.
c. New recruits are not to participate in any operations before this time.
d. Players with outstanding WA bans will not be cleared for enlistment under any circumstances.
e. Players that have been caught multiing by site moderators or JTF officers will be barred from service for one year following the date when the multiing was discovered.
f. Players that have been caught multiing more than once will be permanently barred from service.
ii. One-military policy
a. No member is permitted concurrent membership in any other military organization.
b. No member may provide any other region or organization with non-public information regarding JTF or partner military operations without explicit approval from the DIR.
c. Residency in regions with active military organizations is permitted, provided the member is in no way involved with said organization.
d. If a soldier wishes to participate in an operation with another organization without the rest of the JTF, he will be representing the JTF, and must request permission from the ADC.
iii. Enforcement
a. The DIR must have access to the whereabouts of each member's WA nation at all times. Refusal to disclose this information implies a violation of Regulations §3.i.d or §3.ii.a, and is grounds for immediate dismissal.
b. Violations of Regulations §3.ii.a will result in a general court-martial on charges of desertion.
c. Violations of Regulations §3.ii.b will result in a general court-martial on charges of espionage.
d. Violations of Regulations §3.ii.d when the operation in question has been determined to be counter to the interests of any Alliance member region will result in a general court-martial on charges of aiding the enemy.

§4. Ranks and Insignia
i. Commander (CDR)
a. Highest officer rank.
b. May retain their rank after retirement.
c. Promoted at discretion of the Founder.
d. Officers are able and expected to trigger and lead operations.
ii. Lieutenant Commander (LCDR)
a. Second-highest officer rank.
b. Available to Lieutenants who have successfully completed twenty operations since their last promotion, including at least five that they have triggered and led; promoted by consensus from active CDRs.
c. At least one year spent with the JTF.
d. Officers are able and expected to trigger and lead operations.
iii. Lieutenant (LT)
a. Third-highest officer rank.
b. Available to Ensigns who have successfully completed twenty operations since their last promotion, including at least three that they have triggered and led; promoted by consensus from active LCDRs.
c. At least six months spent with the JTF.
d. Officers are able and expected to trigger and lead operations.
iv. Ensign (ENS)
a. Lowest officer rank.
b. Available to enlisted members who have successfully completed ten operations, undergone training to trigger and lead operations, and demonstrated leadership competence to a superior officer.
c. At least three months spent with the JTF. Exceptions may be made for experienced members transferring in from other organizations.
d. Officers are able and expected to trigger and lead operations.
v. Chief Petty Officer (CPO)
a. PO1s may be promoted to CPO upon successfully completing thirty operations since their last promotion.
vi. Petty Officer First Class (PO1)
a. PO2s may be promoted to PO1 upon successfully completing twenty operations since their last promotion.
vii. Petty Officer Second Class (PO2)
a. PO3s may be promoted to PO2 upon successfully completing ten operations since their last promotion.
viii. Petty Officer Third Class (PO3)
a. CDTs may be promoted to PO3 upon successfully completing one operation.
ix. Cadet (CDT)
a. Held by all members who have fully enlisted, but have not yet been deployed in a successful operation.
x. Definition of an operation for the purposes of promotions
a. For Active Division members (including the Reserve Squadron), "successful completion" does not require the operation itself to be successful, but does require the member to have entered the target and endorsed the proper nations on time.
b. For Active Division members (including the Reserve Squadron), an operation is counted as a single update that contained at least one successful jump. For example, a tag run or chase would count as a single operation, as would the initial jump for an occupation.
xi. All members must use the JTF flag corresponding to their rank while deployed.
§5. Discipline
i. General court-martial.
a. A general court-martial of an enlisted member is to be held by a panel containing the DIR and the member's immediate superior.
b. A general court-martial of an officer is to be held by a panel containing the Founder and the delegate of the officer's region of origin.
ii. Punishment.
a. Members found guilty of mutiny will be discharged permanently from the JTF. Exile from their region of origin will be decided separately by the Founder and the delegate of that region.
b. Members found guilty of failure to obey orders will be discharged from the JTF for a minimum of one month.
c. Members found guilty of desertion will be discharged temporarily from the JTF.
d. Members found guilty of espionage will be discharged permanently from the JTF and summarily exiled from their region of origin.
e. Members found guilty of aiding the enemy will be discharged permanently from the JTF. Exile from their region of origin will be decided separately by the Founder and the delegate of that region.
iii. Non-Judicial Punishment.
a. Unauthorized or improper use of the JTF flag as a national flag will result in the awarding of non-judicial punishment to the violator.
b. Displaying inappropriate conduct toward the residents of a region under occupation will result in the awarding of non-judicial punishment to the violator.

§6. Duties
i. The Diplomatic Division of the Joint Task Force is charged with building relationships with outside regions and organizations.
ii. It will be deployed when closer involvement with these regions and organizations would be advantageous to the Alliance as a whole, not just a single member region. This involvement could include military cooperation, collaboration on events, or exchange of information.
iii. Members must adhere strictly to internal Alliance rules and do their utmost to represent their organization honorably at all times.

§7. Members
i. To enlist in the Diplomatic Division, one must be a resident of an Alliance member region, and submit a request to the DDC.
ii. Members are known as JTF Diplomats, and are entitled to the same ranks, flags, and promotional eligibility as members of the Active Division.
iii. Members will not have access to secure AD channels, and non-members will not have access to the secure DD channel.

§8. Diplomatic Operations
i. Members are deployed at the orders of the DDC. These orders will be delivered via telegram or secure Discord channel.
ii. Operations may involve joining foreign regions, Discord servers, or forums, or private communications with foreign officials.
iii. Whether an operation is considered successful is decided by the DDC.
iv. When a member's nation is deployed, it must fly their rank's flag. When they join a foreign Discord server or forum, they must make known their position as a JTF Diplomat.
