Fylkirvegr Gazette Weekly Newsletter Issue VI
Overview
We would like to congratulate the new Weekly Newsletter, the sixth issue! We here at Fylkirvegr have recently been having an introduction to political parties! Anishopolis and Eleiterion have recently been making their own political parties that are still “under construction” and Anishopolis’s Centre Party currently needs 8 more members of bureaucratic citizens! Whilst Eleiterion’s White Eagle Party still needs nine more bureaucratic citizens. Bureaucratic citizens are citizens that have applied for citizenship and have joined a state within the Regional Forums.
The political parties may have their own ideologies except for fascism in which here at Fylkirvegr we do not tolerate whatsoever in anyway. These ideologies make most political parties unique! We do not want to restrict their ideas in anyway and it will allow members within each party to have their beliefs! The following may have these ideologies:
The political party may be communist and socialist
The party may be capitalist
The regional government has recently had a new addition, Brotnaland! Brotnaland has been appointed as Governor of Aflheim and has done a spectacular job and has been trying out some new things to do at the state and has signs of advertising his state to perhaps become the most active and important state.
Commended Nation of The Month
Whithamia
We would like to praise and congratulate, Whithamia, as our commended nation of the month! I would like to commend him for his efforts in serving the Norse revolution by putting his time and patience in becoming the Minister of International Relations and Cooperation, I even asked him if he wanted to become a Governor, the nation said yes! I then asked him if he wanted to become an Immigration Commissioner, he said yes! These are those types of rare nations who have a lot to offer on the table and puts its hear on its sleeve in everything it does.
Especially doing all he can by issuing an ambassador for Enadia and its leader, 
God-King Rorschach and for having a very professional service and leadership. I would also like to say thanks to God-King Rorschach for his support and input is also very much appreciated. Please telegram Whithamia, and congratulate the nation, and also to endorse him if applicable to further salute his service!
Real Life Matters
Serenity
Calmness of mind is one of the beautiful jewels of wisdom. It is the result of long and patient effort in self-control. Its presence is an indication of ripened experience, and of a more than ordinary knowledge of the laws and operations of thought.
A person becomes calm in the measure that he understands himself as a thought evolved being, for such knowledge necessitates the understanding of others as the result of thought, and as he develops a right understanding, and sees more and more clearly the internal relations of things by the action of cause and effect he ceases to fuss and fume and worry and grieve, and remains poised, steadfast, serene.
The calm person, having learned how to govern themselves, know how to adapt themselves to others. And they, in turn, reverence spiritual strength and feel that they can learn of them and rely upon them. The more tranquil a person becomes, the greater is their success, their influence, their power for good. Even the ordinary trader will find his business prosperity increase as they develop greater self-control and equanimity, for people will always prefer to deal with a person whose demeanor is strongly equable.
“Who does not love a tranquil heart, a sweet-tempered, balanced life?
The strong, calm person is always loved and revered. They are like a shade-giving tree in a thirsty land or a sheltering rock in a storm. It does not matter whether it rains or shines, or what changes come to those possessing these blessings, for they are always sweet, serene, and calm. That exquisite poise of character, which we call serenity is the last lesson of culture, the fruitage of the soul. It is precious as wisdom, more to be desired than gold — yet, than even fine gold.
How insignificant mere money-seeking looks in comparison with a serene life, a life that dwells in the ocean of Truth, beneath the waves, beyond the reach of tempests, in the Eternal Calm![/color][/size]
How many people we know who sour their lives, who ruin all that is sweet and beautiful by explosive tempers, who destroy their poise of character, and make bad blood! It is a question whether the great majority of people do not ruin their lives and break their happiness by lack of self-control.
How few people we meet in life who are well balanced, who have that exquisite poise which is characteristic of the finished character!
Yes, humanity surges with uncontrolled passion, is tumultuous with ungoverned grief, is blown about by anxiety and doubt only the wise man, only he whose thoughts are controlled and purified, makes the winds and the storms of the soul obey him.
“Happiness exists in the serenity of the soul, the calmness of mind” Epikouros
Tempest-tossed souls, wherever they may be, under whatsoever conditions they may live, know this in the ocean of life the isles of Blessedness are smiling, and the sunny shore of your ideal awaits your coming. Keep your hand firmly upon the helm of thought.
Now you will be asking yourself “How can I do this, when I have so many things to every day, so many people to please and my financial situation is a mess?” I have to say, that all of us have difficult lives. If I have to say something to help you, I would say: Eliminate as soon in your life as possible things and people that demand a lot of energy and attempts to be maintained.
Minimalize your life. You don’t need all the things that you are dreaming of, and if you need the things you are dreaming of, stop buying things that are not in the dream list. Dream big, but work towards the dream. Not just dream.
Be a practical dreamer, not a person who is just avoiding their lives by using pleasant thoughts.
If a person distracts you from calmness, work hard so as to escape (That does not apply for parents). A life that is lived in calmness doesn’t have to come today or tomorrow. In fact, exactly the opposite happens. It needs work and sacrifices. It doesn’t come easy. That’s why it worths it, as it is your personal work and a result of self-discipline and desire.
Self-control is strength.
Right Thought is mastery.
Calmness is power.
Say unto your heart, “Peace, be still!
Calmness, knowledge, and fairness for all, is the real Revolution we need to spread all around, the way the seeds bloom all around in the Spring.
Relations Portal
Everyone, we would like to aware you that we have not been negotiating in terms of any future embassies and/or consulates as we do not want a lot of embassies as it will most likely mean less interaction.
We have been noticing other regions asking for embassies in-game, but the problem with that is that there population is quite low, they are probably puppet storage regions and other faults, thus we try to tell them this beforehand.
