BP through to NSWC Semi-Finals!

(CPA) Hosingr, Mriin--The Commonwealth of Baker Park National Team have advanced to the semi-final of the 84th NS World Cup hosted by Mriin & Farfadillis, following a 3-2 Quarterfinal win over five time champions Valanora, in front of 54,000 at Iron Alley in Hosingr. It marked the second straight match that BP had eliminated a former five time champion, having defeated Starblaydia in the Round of 16, the national team's first ever victory in a knock stage match after 4 previous losses.

Sabrina Patton, Antonio Sotolongo, and Annabeth Westmoreland provided the goalscoring, and Caroline Gordon saved 7 of the 9 shots on goal she faced as the Black & Gold clad side advanced for the third time to the semi-finals of a major tournament, having made the final four at two of the last 3 AOCAF regional tournaments (finishing 3rd on both occasions).

They will face Nephara, another former champion, at Haven stadium in Maal, capital of Mriin. The winner will play the survivor of the other semi-final match between Banija & the Federation of Free Republics.
