Welcome to the Office of World Assembly Legislation — the South Pacific’s official World Assembly program.

The Office of World Assembly Legislation (OWL) is the region’s dedicated platform for World Assembly engagement. Its primary responsibilities are to:

• Conduct democratic votes to determine the South Pacific’s official stance on every World Assembly resolution,

• Publish clear, professional recommendations and balanced analyses to inform the region,

• Assist new authors from the South Pacific in drafting high-quality resolutions.

The OWL Recommendation Dashboards provide expert analysis of every resolution currently at vote. Each dashboard includes the Office’s official position, essential background, and balanced opinions from leading World Assembly nations on both sides of the issue.

These recommendations are written by experienced OWL staff, giving you reliable guidance you can trust.

Vote on the Delegate’s Stance on WA Resolutions

This is one of the most important ways to participate. Your vote helps shape the South Pacific’s position in the World Assembly. The Delegate’s vote carries the combined weight of all their endorsements, so it is vital that WA nations in the region vote through OWL. The Delegate and OWL both follow the outcome of the regional vote.

How to vote:

• Cast your OWL vote on the TSP Forum OWL Voting Center (full instructions here).

• Also vote directly on the NationStates site: General Assembly and Security Council.
  

Get Involved in the Discussion

Share your thoughts, ask questions, and collaborate with fellow South Pacificans on World Assembly issues.

You can participate in two main ways:

• Post on the TSP Forum Board where OWL votes take place.

• Join the South Pacific’s Discord server to discuss resolutions in real time, get help writing your own, and connect with experienced authors and OWL staff.
  

Join the OWL Staff

OWL maintains a dedicated team of staff who write recommendations, manage votes, and keep the region informed about upcoming legislation.

Becoming staff is open to anyone interested. Applications are reviewed quickly by the Director or Deputy Director. Full details are available here and in our Beginner’s Guide.
