Now you've really done it, exclamation point. I told you all I wasn't going to run, but here I am about to explain why you should vote for me for Minister of Foreign Affairs. Not gonna lie, the only foreign affairs experience I have is organizing Pacific-Con, but I have voiced my vision in the Assembly, whether on the forum or in #legislators-lounge.

So let's go through this vision.

As the Minister of Foreign Affairs, the South Pacific will pursue a policy of rapprochement and reconciliation with other regions. In the previous term, we broke the ice that existed between us and two GCRs, the New Pacific Order and Osiris. Let it be known, this policy applies to all GCRs and other regions if they are willing to engage in good faith. This policy will not apply to regions proscribed by the South Pacific or vice versa.

The South Pacific will also continue fostering and developing its cordial relationships with its allies and friends. The friendship we maintain with regions such as the North Pacific and the Union of Democratic States is mutually essential to our regions' safety and security. We are the Sregguh Pacific, and we will share our hugs with the world, whether they want them or not. Take it, NPO!

In the previous term as Minister of Regional Affairs, I worked with Omega to organize Pacific-Con, which turned out to be a tremendous success. While we shouldn't expect another Pacific-Con for another year, that doesn't mean we shouldn't hold another interregional event in the next term. I will work with the next Minister of Regional Affairs in organizing more of these events.

As the Minister of Foreign Affairs, the South Pacific will engage in deliberations with defender regions to build a bloc in the World Assembly Security Council to represent the interests of defenders. If elected, the pursuance of a defender bloc in the World Assembly will take precedence in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Last year, we made the decision to officially become defenders. This year, we will work on building a bloc for defenders.

The fact that you've read through this message and made it to this point is astonishing because it means that you are actually considering voting for me. I don't quite know what to say about that. I suppose I could say that I have charisma, but I already knew that. For whatever reason, I have a vested interest and passion for the South Pacific, which is why I have decided to run for office.

The choice is yours whether you wish to elect me as the Minister of Foreign Affairs. I have been brutally honest this entire time, probably to my own detriment, but that may very well be the reason you are considering voting for me. If that is the case, thank you for your consideration. I am happy to serve the South Pacific in whatever capacity you elect me to, whether that was as the Minister of Regional Affairs in February or now as the Minister of Foreign Affairs.

Who is your favorite politician in real life?

Nelson Mandela was one of the greatest voices for freedom, justice, and equality that the world has ever seen. Mandela's story is one of perseverance against tyranny and racial injustice, speaking out against apartheid in South Africa. He spent 27 years of his life imprisoned for this righteous cause and was eventually released and elected president of a free South Africa. May one of the greatest people to have graced this earth rest in peace.
