Recognizing that the Republic of Conservative Nations was formed by the Reformation Act on May 2, 2020, and that the Republic's Constitution was ratified on May 20, 2020; and

Believing that both of these occasions merit remembrance as important to the history of the Republic,

HEREBY declares the following:

1. Two new holidays are to be added to those otherwise observed by the Republic:

   1. Reformation Day, celebrated on May 2nd of each year in honor of the Republic's foundation as a reformation of the Federation of Conservative Nations.

   2. Constitution Day, celebrated on May 20th of each year in honor of the ratification of the Republic's highest governing document.

2. Nothing in this executive order shall be construed to limit the activity of the General Assembly on the aforementioned dates.

RECOGNIZING that individuals within the community may be held to have provided the Republic with services of great value in any number of fields; and

ACKNOWLEDGING that these individuals may deserve an official recognition for their meritorious deeds;

HEREBY establishes the Order of the Republic, a decoration given under the following:

Article I. Conditions for Award.
Section 1: The Order of the Republic may either be awarded in its “standard” class, or with Distinction.

Section 2: The Order may be awarded for meritorious service to the Republic, for reasons including but not limited to: lengthy and impactful service in public office, effective management of role-play events, notable achievement of interregional diplomacy, or successful authorship and passage of a World Assembly resolution.

Section 3: The Order with Distinction is generally reserved for noteworthy service in defense or liberation of the Republic or its allies from foreign threats.

Section 4: The Order may be awarded by the decision of the President, or by a majority vote in the General Assembly.

Article II. Appearance.
Section 1: The Order of the Republic shall consist of a medallion suspended from a ribbon.

1. The ribbon shall be Republic Blue in color, with the middle third of its width divided evenly between five vertical stripes of equal width. These stripes shall be of the following patter from left to right: Republic Gold, Republic Blue, white, Republic Blue, and Republic Gold.

2. The medallion shall consist of a gilt disc bordered by a circular wreath, with a disc of Republic Blue in the center. A Republican Double-headed Phoenix in white shall be centered on this disc, and it shall bear a Presidential Star in gilt on its breast.

Section 2: A ribbon bar may be utilized for forum signatures and the like, which shall be a small rectangle of the same pattern as the ribbon above.

Section 3: Orders with Distinction are to be distinguished by a Distinction Pin, which is applied both to the ribbon and ribbon bar. This pin is a forty-pointed gilt star, with a Republic Blue disc in the center bearing a Presidential Star in white.

Recognizing the lengthy and noteworthy service to the Republic and its predecessor regions by one Furbish Islands (Countryball With No Life #9216), and
Grateful for the cultural impact he has had through his artwork and interactions since 2017, and
Noting in particular his incomparable contributions to the Army of Freedom operations, both in raiding and special events, and
Desiring to properly enshrine his legacy with this region,

Therefore be it Resolved, that Furbish Islands is to be awarded the Order of the Republic, Standard Class.

Acknowledging that the President’s executive orders cannot conflict with the Republic’s constitution and the laws of the region

Recognizing that Article 1 section 1 of the constitution states, “Citizens shall not be permanently banned without either four fifths of all members of the Assembly present agreeing or a unanimous decision by the justices.”

Noticing, however, that Quebecshire is not a citizen of the Republic and as such is not protected by the clause

Believing that such action is necessary for the betterment of the Republic as a whole

Hereby: immediately bans Quebecshire from the RCN and removes him from the Republic’s discord server for the following reasons:

• Contributing to a hostile and charged atmosphere on the server which has resulted in friction and disruption that did not exist before his arrival

• Conspiring with a member of the General Assembly to receive information from private chambers

Believing that Quebecshire, though controversial, did not break Republic rules and,

Wanting to encourage dialogue with other regions and,

Emphasizing that Quebecshire’s unbanning does not indicate agreement with past statements and actions, and

Emphasizing that legitimate rule violations will be punished, therefore, using my prerogative as President, it is

Hereby enacted that Quebecshire is unbanned and to be given an ambassador role and EO-03-01 is repealed.

RECOGNIZING members of the RCN who have provided outstanding services within the community, in the fields of the Arts, Literature and Culture.

ACKNOWLEDGING that these individuals deserve an official recognition for their creativity and building the Arts and Culture of the region.

HEREBY establishes the RCN Medal of Cultural Enrichment; a decoration given under the following:

Article I. Conditions for Award.

Section 1: The RCN Medal of Cultural Enrichment is awarded as a “Muse Standard Class" in honour of the Muses; inspirational Greek goddesses of literature, science, and the arts

Section 2: The RCN Medal of Cultural Enrichment may be awarded for providing outstanding services  in the fields of the Art, Literature and Culture.

Section 3: The Order may be awarded by the decision of the President with or without the need of an Executive Order, or by a majority vote in the General Assembly.

Article II. Appearance.
Section 1: The  RCN Medal of Cultural Enrichment shall consist of a medallion suspended from a ribbon.

A. The ribbon shall consist from left to right, Republic White, Republic Blue and Republic purple in colour, divided evenly between three vertical stripes of equal width. 

B. The medallion shall consist of a bordure silver disc.
A pen quill in black shall be centered on this disc.
