OOC Rules of 1st Epitome United

OOC:
Thiese rules are written OOC, to establish rules for people who are not within the region yet.
  1. All messages, resolutions, factbooks and dispatches must be in character.

  2. Regional map may depict only the region and not be a whole world map because the regional map only contains nations within 1st Epitome United. You must request a place on the map if you wish to join the roleplay.

  3. Role play, governing, and all other regional activity is encouraged. Be serious when participating.

  4. All role play must be based in Nation States' stats, canon factbooks and dispatches. Any post deviating from any nation’s reality will be suppressed.

  5. Any player in the region may define their population as different than their NS population in their top Overview Factbook, when it exceeds 1 billion, in order to keep the roleplay realistic. Otherwise it is assumed it is exactly 1 billion as it exceeds said number. Their re-defined population may not be bigger than 1.5 billion people.

  6. References to real life politics are forbidden. You may include pop-culture based Easter-eggs in your posts, but any exact replicas of pop-culture are prohibited as well, including joke-name nation titles.

  7. Anyone willing to make any event with permanent results, or changes anything significant like geographic position of a character, that includes any official and/or leader of any other nation, or the other nation itself, must get theirs or the administration's permission first (then in case of the first happening inform about it the administration). That includes all international conflicts, all murders, all deaths and diseases.

  8. Anyone that mentions a character of a player, faction of a player, or any group or organization made by a player, must tag that player in anything they are writing, be it factbook, RMB post or Dispatch. Quotes count as tags.

  9. Any regional association with a joke nation or region is not allowed.

  10. Any regional association with nations and/or regions made for real-life political statements is not allowed.

  11. Spam, bots and flooding are forbidden and can result in serious consequences. If you have something to say that isn’t canon or is out of character, write a telegram or mention it in Discord.

  12. Any player may have only a single nation in the region.

  13. The administration (especially the founder) is in charge of ensuring that the rules are followed. There are no physical or technological benefits that come with the job.

  14. Regional administration makes decisions based on a "veto" system. If at least one administrator uses their "veto" on any decision, said decision doesn't pass. Veto cannot be used on decisions already made, as it's a decision making process and not a way to cancel rules or laws.

  15. New rules and new laws do not work backwards (as in you cannot be punished by a rule or law that was passed after your actions).

  16. Nations can claim descent from nations before 1918. In Nation States, all real nations founded after that year are considered nonexistent. You may be a descent of a Nation States nation, but only in a realistic manner. Nations can also claim imaginary descent as long as it's serious and somewhat realistic.

  17. If your way of writing and or spelling makes others confused, or is outright unreadable, usually because of bad grammar, if not edited, the message will be deleted and if it is a dispatch or a factbook it can also be declared non-canon by the administration. You may apply to the administration to reconsider your factbook or dispatch after it was declared non-canon.
