Statial Map of the United Imperial States of America

Map of United Imperial States of America: Including all overseas territories

History of the nation's expansion

Despite founded as a small republic originating from the breakaway colonies of the British Empire, it's imperialistic atttitude toward foreign policy rooted in the spirit of Manifest Destiny, American Exceptionalism as well as it's relatively weak neighbors meant that it adopted an aggressively expansionist policy during it's early history, especially as it sought to expand westward with it's territories rapidly bolstered by the Louisiana Purchase from France eventually to the Pacific Coast, it then seized the Southwest during the Mexican-American War which saw America annexing all of Mexico's territories. By the early mid 19th century, this once small republic has conquered much of North America and all of Central America, during the Age of Imperialism, Imperial America annexed the Philippines, Carribeans and was in charge of the administration of Liberia. Today, the United Imperial States of America has given up the territorial expansionism of it's early history but continues to intervene militarily and economically on geopolitical situations.

Territorial Overview

Four regions: The United States of America, the Imperial Commonwealth of Central America and the Arcipelego Commonwealth of the Carribeans form the nation, with the capital being Washington DC, in addition to these three regions, Imperial America also possesses a few overseas territories located away from the American mainland. Each regions may have their own laws but all must adhere to the American Constitution and the Bill of Rights.

The region is extremely economically prosperous with it holding most of the nation's GDP wealth as well as the majority of the population, major economic activity is extremely diverse with most of it being part of the secondary sector, the United States has a very powerful manufacturing sector with major industry being information technology, arms manufacturing, finance, retail and aerospace. The United States also contains several highly productive agricultural zones such as the San Joaquin Valley, the Corn Belt and Wheat Belt.
The United States while being primarily located in Central North America also has territories outside the contiguous American landmass. Three states of the United States lie outside of contiguous Central North America, the State of Hawaii, the State of Alaska and the State of Puerto Rico.
The United States also maintains direct control over several overseas territories, in the Pacific and Indian Ocean, the United States control islands such as Guam, Midway Atoll, Wake Island and Diego Garcia. Overseas Administrative Territory of Central America

The Overseas Administrative Region of Central America was first established as the Central American Republic after the American victory in the Mexican American War in which the First Mexican Empire was forced to cede 55% of its territory including all that would today be the American states of Arizona, California, New Mexico, Texas, Colorado, Nevada and Utah, following the dissolution of the First Mexican Empire, the territories of the former nation came under brief American military occupation and Imperial America then strongly considered annexing the entirety of Mexico, however, this idea was ultimately abandoned as the ceded territories eventually began moving towards American statehoods, creating several new American states thus ending the Central American Republic as a separate entity from the United States of America.
In the late 19th century, after failed attempts by French diplomats Ferdinand Lesseps to construct a canal through the Isthmus of Panama, Imperial America began efforts to construct a canal in the Isthmus of Panama. American influence in Panama and neighboring Costa Rica continued to grow as the canal construction efforts continued with the nation then deploying a contingent of military forces to defend her economic investments. The Panama Canal would be completed in 1914 and both Panama as well as Costa Rica would be absorbed as American territories in 1916, creating the modern Overseas Administrative Region of Central America.
The territorial capital of the Overseas Territories of Central America is Panama City. The local government of the territory is modelled after the American federal government with a legislative, judicial and executive branch. Residents of the Overseas Administrative Region of Central America are considered citizens of the United Imperial States and are entitled to all rights and protections under the Constitution but would also have to pay some level of federal taxes. For its internal security, the Overseas Administrative Region of Central America possesses its own National Guard formation with a ground and aerial component similar to that of American states.
The economy of the current Overseas Administrative Territories of Central America is dominated by the Panama Canal with its toll collection making a significant part of the region’s income. The territory also has a fairly large service sector marked by insurance, tourism as well as flagship registry and has gained a reputation of being a destination to create shell companies, the region also is an exporter of sugar, shrimp, coffee and bananas. The Overseas Administrative Territories of Central America has a substantial American military presence, especially naval, much of it owing to its position between the Pacific and Atlantic Ocean as well as the need to defend the Panama Canal.

American Republic of Liberia

Initially set up as a sanctuary to repatriate freed African slaves back to the continent of Africa, during the Scramble for Africa, America took direct administration of Liberia, officially to prevent European colonization of Liberia, but also to compete with European imperial powers in Africa as well as to extract the rich natural resources, Liberia gained official independence in 1847, but was under heavy America influence and was later transformed into a joint administrative republic.
Liberia under American control has it's own semi autonomous government, as well as it's own independent armed forces which is trained and equipped by the American Imperial Armed Forces, but cannot declare war without the permission of the American government, Liberians are considered American citizens by birth and are entitled to constitutional rights.
Liberia was economically stagnant when initially incorporated into America, but today Liberia's economy is rising with it's main economic activity centered around resource extraction.

American Territories of Greenland

Map of Greenland

Formerly belonging to Denmark, during the Cold War, Imperial America maintained radar stations and several airbases such as the Thule Air Base as well as ballistic missile and air defense system to act as both a forward striking and early warning platform, during the peak of the Cold War during the '70s, Imperial America requested Denmark to purchase the entirety of Greenland for it's strategic value, it was eventually purchased for 4.8 billion USD and was renamed into the "American Territories of Greenland"
Under American control, Greenland's military presence has been significant bolstered, Imperial America has deployed Pershing III medium range ballistic missiles and Jericho III intermediate range ballistic missiles, in addition a new network of airbases, radar stations, air defense( including the new Patriot Pac-4, THAAD and Ground Missile Defender) was installed in the island, Greenland also serves as the Headquarter of the Arctic Command. When initially acquired, Greenland is presumed to have little economic value but soon large numbers of strategically valuable natural resources such as iron ore, gold, natural gas, oil and uranium was discovered in Greenland, increasing commercial activity and making resource extraction the primary source of economic output, environmental regulations have been enacted to prevent overly destructive economic activity in the region.
