DFoM Weekly Times Goes International!
“Our most recent publication DFoM Weekly Times 22022020 (PubNo:03) has had 81 reads as of yesterday,” said its Chief Editor, Khaliqah Reza during the DFoM WT Monthly Townhall.
She added that this feat could not have been achieved without the help from colleagues at The NewsStand. Last Sunday, The NewsStand quoted DFoM Weekly Times in more than 60 RMBs. Thus drastically increasing its readership.
“Quick shout out to our homies at the The NewsStand. We are truly indebted to them for what they have done for us,” said the Chief Editor whilst tapping her right hand on her chest with her left hand showing a peace sign.

Kelantan state Elected as DFoM’s WA Delegate
According to the Democratic Federation of Malaysia Government’s dispatch; the Prime Minister is the Head of Government and as well as the WA Delegate.
However, the current government line-up only consists of a Head of Region, Minister of Defence, Minister of Media & Communication and Minister of Youth, Culture & Community.
Regional political analysts commented that since the PM position is unfilled at the moment, the Founder who is also the Head of Region holds equivalent jurisdiction. As such, the Kelantan state's appointment was deemed relevant.
They speculate that an election will be underway as soon as the region has the minimum amount of members to form a functioning government.

And There Goes Bahamas2420…
Unfortunately, Bahamas2420’s move to DFoM was cut short after the nation decided to move out from DFoM to another region.
Nonetheless, DFoM’s doors are always open for new, existing and returning nations. Democratic Federation of Malaysia would like to wish Bahamas2420 good luck in their future undertakings.

But Wait! Here Comes Mahawangsa!
“On behalf of the region of Democratic Federation of Malaysia, I would like to welcome Mahawangsa to this humble region,” said Mr Dzulkarnain Sukor, a DFoM Nations Registrar Office spokesperson.
“We are slowly expanding the region, a new nation at a time. We have sent a communication out to the Head of Region’s office to check if there are any ministry portfolios suitable for Mahawangsa,” he added.
Mahawangsa is WA member even before its arrival to DFoM, making this the 2nd nation eligible for the Prime Minister and Deputy Prime Minister post after Bachok.
Mahawangsa takes pride in its national animal the Sea Tiger, runs its economy using their Mahawangsa Ringgit and holds on dearly to their motto “Selagi Hayat Dikandung Badan”.

The decision to move Kelantan state capital were made after the foundation of the nation and because of the rapid growth of the population so a resolution have been made to established a new city.
The new city will act as a place for administration for the government as well as a place for local and international business to take places. It will be a boost to the nation with a growing reputation as Kelantan state.
The development of the city were joint by many companies that offering different specialty to make the city the most modern capital and it give long term benefit to business companies that make this capital city a place to do business.

Covid-19 effect Visit Kelantan state Year 2020 events

The organizer expected that the amount of visitors into the country will decrease as the government have to halt or limit the entry of visitors from the infected country. The precaution have to be made to avoid more contact among people that were unknowingly infected by the viruses.
The organizer now have to change their strategies to attract people into the events and prepared to accept much lower income because of the recent outbreak that prevented people to go into much crowded places and thus avoided the viruses.
Some of the event have to be cancelled or postponed and it was for the best for the health of the people of Kelantan state. The officer for the Tourism agency has told the media that a meeting with the Ministry of Tourism will be held to discuss and find better solution about the matter.

From the Editor's Desk: A Mishap That Turned into a Week of Silence

Unfortunately, the editor's office faced an unprecedented technical issue which caused a gap in the DFoM WT publication. We have managed to sort out the problem and business will resume as usual.
On behalf of DFoM Weekly Times team, I would like to apologise if we have not been able to perform at the expected standard. Things should improve moving forward.
