The Battle of Dragon Ridge

The Legion troops sit in their trenches and a officer looks with his Binoculars at the opposing side. “I see them alright..... wait that one is aim-“ a bullet hits the binoculars and goes through hitting him in the eye killing him.

“Mein gott!” He gets carried away and sent somewhere.

On the other side Marines laugh and the sniper puts it down. “God I love this Sniper Rifle System 99-Series! Such a good sniper!” The other soldiers nod and the MG gunner sets up the MG with a shield around it. “Get ready for an attack... if that officers was looking then it’s coming soon” their blue and black armor shines in moonlight they get their battle rifles and aim in the darkness that is no mans land. A couple of twhoomps can be heard and then more. A screaming artillery shell is heard “GET DOWN!!!!” Arty explodes around them they dive on the ground covering their heads praying they don’t get hit. More and more shells come over and then a trench whistle is heard and screaming. The Arty stops and yelling is heard in the DoP lines. “HOLD MEN!!!!!” They get up and aim their rifles. Some are groggy and shaking and take a second. A shadow of grey uniforms can be seen approaching. “FIRE!!!!” The DoP lines fire and they fall. Legion troops run and take cover in shell holes and some throw grenades. Some land short and don’t do anything but one lands in the trench killing 4 men. A legion Corporal jumps in a foxhole and grabs the Radio. “WE NEED-“ he fires his rifle and they hear a screaming. “NEVERMIND THAT!” A flamethrower soldier comes up and rises over the trench and fires one burst before a DoP Rider jumps behind him and grabs his westar and fires one right in the back of his fuel tank setting it off and lighting the men on fire next to him. He whistles and his dragon lands takes out some legion soldiers and the rider gets on and he rides to the rear line where the DoP General is. Gunfire can be heard from back there. He walks in salutes “sir, an attack has been started.... I request we should call him the other riders to provide CAS. It’s getting heavy down there sir” the Commander nods and gets on the radio and calls the dragons. They said they will be there in about 8 minutes.

Legion soldiers push up and some marines engage in hand to hand combat. One has his fists out and the legion storm soldiers has a shovel and charges at the marine and the marine counters him and flips him and gets on top of him grabbing his neck, squeezing. “GET OFF ME!” The legion soldier grabs at his face and finds his eyes and rake them making the marine scream. The legion flips him over and grabs his shovel and swings down the marine catches his arm and pushes up making the shovel stop the marine grabs a rock beside him and smashes it across the Legion soldiers face and he smashes the rock over his face over and over again until he is dead. He gets up and is met with a knife to the gut and falls over dead. Legion soldiers drop in the DoP trench and engage in hand to hand. One Legion soldier has a trench club and bashes the face of one soldier and gets pushed into the wall of the trench by a rider and he grabs his knife and sticks it in the Legion soldiers neck. He moves on to another soldier killing him and then gets shot in the back off helmet making a dent and he flies off with his jet pack and does a backflip in mid air and shoots a soldier and then another round hits him killing him. The last DoP soldier aims his battle rifle and takes out 5 legion soldiers and roars are heard in the distance. 10 dragons are seen breaking the clouds above the battlefield. 19 legion jet fighters head them on in the air.

The Air Officer in one of the Jets spins in mid air doing a barrel roll and shoots one of the dragons before being met with a storm of fire setting the Jet ablaze and it comes crashing down in the battlefield crashing next to a soldier fighting a DoP soldier. The riders look down and point and the others give a thumbs up and nod. The leader of the dragon squadron pets his dragon “I’ll be back soon buddy... kill those scum for me eh?” He looks at him and the riders blast off on their dragons and they watch the dragons descend on the battlefield and do strafe runs of fire on the Legion forces. The riders land above the trench with their jet packs and 4 of them has the Rider Assault rifle (the Mando assault rifle from legends) they take out legion soldiers and make a circle and they shoot many. 3 of the riders have Westar 34s and the other 3 have the Gatling Laser and spray some legion soldiers. They fly up and fire their rockets from their wrist and fire on the battlefield. They fly away before the dragons come back and they do. This time flying close to the ground and swiping and burning legion soldiers. A Tiger Tank comes over and shoots one of the dragons out of the sky making it yelp in pain and crash in the ground dead. The other dragons fly up being chased by legion jet fighters. One jet locks on with his missiles and fires. The dragon sees the missiles and flys up and spins making them crash together. The jet fighter switch to guns and shoot 3 out of the sky making them crash and the lead dragon spreads his wings out and does an airbrake and makes the legion fighters fly past him and he takes them out with his fire.

The ground situation is getting worse. Legion soldiers keep coming and coming. The fire has held them back a bit but doesn’t for long. The riders come back and jump in the trench where legion soldiers are attempting to capture. “GO GO GO!” One peeks and throws a grenade and legion soldiers scream and get blown up. One with a Gatling laser takes point and sprays some down. A legion soldier comes up behind one of them and grabs him by the neck and tries to choke him out but the rider elbows him in the gut and kicks him and twists his arm and takes his head and slams it in his knee making him yell and the rider grabs his pistol and fires 4 bullets in his chest. More yelling is heard from behind and it looks like another wave is coming. The riders are the only ones in the trench. The other soldiers either died or retreated to the secondary line. They look over and grin. One whistles and then remaining dragons come down and rain fire on the soldiers. It gets shot at by the legion soldiers but shrugs the bullets off and lands behind the Riders. The other two join them. Gunfire can be heard from the secondary line. “We have a mission to do.... protect the DoP at all costs” the riders nod and step up above the trench and make a last stand. Soldiers rush them and they get killed by the dragons or the riders. A legion soldier wearing modified armor runs at one of the riders and tackles one of them. He pushes the riders helmet and cracks it. The rider struggles to push him off and grabs the mans boot knife and rams it in his side making him gasp and fall over. “WE ARE RIDERS!!! WE WERE TRAINED TO FIGHT!!” They make a circle and legion soldiers close in on all sides. A rider takes a bullet to the shoulder and drops his rifle and grabs his pistol in his holster and takes out 8 legion soldiers and then gets hit across the face by a gun and gets stabbed in the chest by a bayonet. “NOO” the last rider sees the other rider and his dragon die by an explosion. He takes his Gatling laser and bashes some soldiers across the face and lights 15 or so up and hits some more and shoots. He gets shot in the shoulder and drops the gun. “ARGHH!” He takes out his knife and stabs 7 or so before getting swarmed heavily and surrounded. He tries to reach for his pistol and fires another shot taking out one more and then he gets shot in the head by a soldier.

The secondary line soon erupts in yelling and fire. The DoP flag can be seen being pulled down and replaced with a legion flag.

“URRRAAAAAA!!!!!” Legion soldiers stand on top of the HQ building and the commander of the DoP lines over there can be seen hanged on a lamppost. The gunfire stops and soldiers cheer.
