Party Line Struggles

Within the Nekomimi Communist Party some claim a storm brews. Two unofficial de facto factions have formed, colloquially known as the centralists and democrats. While the former believes in a strong centralized party and state with supreme power, the latter values democratization and granting more autonomy to non-party and non-state citizens. Nekomimea is known for having developed an unelected government with broad powers over every facet of common life and an ideology of regarding freedom as an antiquated concept to be replaced with unity, all of which is upheld by the centralist faction, while criticized by the democrat faction that argues for more power to local and lower level organizations.
Thesis, antithesis. Only time will tell what the synthesis of these two lines will yield.
