This dispatch will give you an overview of what Nightvale is, the structure of our community and what we can offer to our residents. 1. Nightvale is a region founded on 30th October 2019 following a powerful summoning spell by our Wizard King was able to bring our world to life. The region's theme is inspired by magic and high fantasy. We are home to a number of species or races, not only humans. Fantastic creatures like dragons, mermaids, werewolves and fairies also inhabit our realm.

2. Nightvale is a roleplay region. Our players are creative storytellers who help build and expand the canon not only of their individual nations, but of the entire region. If roleplaying interests you, Nightvale can be a good fit for you.

3. Nightvale is also a gameplay region. Aside from nurturing a creative community, we also strive to provide an interesting and healthy political simulation for our members. We have a monarchical government with elements of participatory democracy.

   1. At the moment, the main political institutions are the King (founder of the region and functions as the head of government) and the Assembly of Nightvale. The Assembly is open to all citizens. Once registered, you can immediately start participating in the debates and even propose your own bill for consideration.

   2. As the region grows, we will also be establishing proper government ministries, courts and a regional military. You might have heard of invasions, defenses and liberations. Well, Nightvale is also interested in participating in those pretty soon.

1. Creative Regional Theme. You can turn your nation into whatever you want it to be, with the added bonus that the world it will be part of has magic and fantasy elements to help enrich your canon. Want to run a nation completely filled with werewolves, or a city-state composed of intellectual orcs? Yes you can!

2. Roleplays. As mentioned above, Nightvale is a region of roleplayers. You can publish news stories about your nation, the adventures of your beloved characters or your dealings with other races and countries in the region.

3. Active Political Scene. Players can visit the Hustings to register their own political parties to help them control the Assembly. The Government has also a lot of vacant positions, ministerial posts and ambassadorships in addition to the main institution of the Assembly.

4. Laid back and fun community. If roleplays and politics are too much for you, why not just sit back, relax, have a chat and play a game or two with another Nightvale friend of yours? The Whomping Willow in Devil Square is the place for all things casual and laid back. Or spend some few hours reading about ancient lore, magic and old government papers in the Library of Nightvale, the regional academic center.

   1. Joining Nightvale is pretty easy. Just move your nation into our region and voila, you have accomplished the first step of becoming part of NationStates newest hip region.

   2. The next thing that you have to do is join our Regional Forums. The forums function like Nightvale's capital. That's were all of our community activities, roleplays and political affairs are conducted. We strongly suggest you signing up for an account. Once there, don't forget to apply for Citizenship.

      1. Citizenship is necessary for you to access the entirety of the forums. Not only that, running for public office and serving in the military will require you to have citizenship so it is best you get that settled from the very start.

      2. If you are a member or citizen of another region, no need to worry. Nightvale currently allows multiple citizenship. As long as you given Nightvale a fair share of your time and effort, we won't have any problems.

   3. Finally, we encourage all our nations to join the World Assembly and endorse our would be regional delegate. Joining the World Assembly allows you to participate in another fun area of the game while also raising the international profile and standing of our own region.
