The Flame of Man burns bright

There's a tale in Honorgrad
About how humanity can stand any threat that faces it...
The story starts with 7 characters gathered around a hearth in a stone room.

The Kings Guard
The Bastard Son
The Outcast
The Mercenary
The Sorcerer
The Burned Man
And the Forgotten Warrior

As the story goes they were waiting for Twilight to break when the enemy would attack

But this was no ordinary enemy
This was not about politics or war

This was about the very survival of The living
For they were facing the Dead...

As the Assembly went outside they readied their armies to defend against the hordes that were soon to come

As the sun disappeared across the horizon The Dead went to face off against the living

The Noble warriors led their forces against the dead charging in for an attack which ultimately led nowhere

They kept their ground until they were flanked from 3 sides

They returned into their castle manning the walls

This did not stop the dead though

They just pilled on top of eachother climbing over the walls and flopping onto the other side

Even then the Might of man shown through as the warriors did their best slaying body after body

And when every single soldier died, The 7 Warriors did not surrender or give up to death

They fought bravely fighting till they couldnt no more

And then when the sun rose the next day

There only remained one man left standing,
Above a pile of bodies and rubble
