Region Name Charter

Preamble:

We the Nations of Region Name, in order to form a more perfect union, establish justice, ensure regional tranquility, provide for the common definition, support the general welfare, and secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity, do ordain and establish this charter for the NationStates Region of Region Name.

Article I, Legislature:

1a. Any nation who is a member of Region Name and is at the same time, a member of the World Assembly may vote on Region matters.
1b. All region legislation will be submitted under the polls tab of the Region Name page of NationStates.
1c. The responsibility for posting legislation for voting will be placed on a Speaker of the Legislature who will be elected from nations who qualify for voting every 6 months via an election by all voting nations who are not currently holding another position.
1d. The Speaker of the Legislature can be removed from office by the Judicial Official of Region Name or the World Assembly Delegate if sufficient evidence is provided for misuse of power.
1e. Regional law will be decided by vote and will require over 50% of votes to pass.
1f. Amendments to the Regional Charter require a 75% majority to pass.

Article II, Executive:

2a. The executive of Region Name will be the World Assembly Delegate.
2b. The World Assembly Delegate will be the granted the powers of: Executive, World Assembly, Appearance, Communications, Polls (only to be used in the case of Speaker of the Legislature removal proceedings), and Embassies.
2c. The World Assembly Delegate will have the authority to appoint an Assistant to the World Assembly Delegate to assist them when necessary.
2d. The Assistant to the World Assembly Delegate will have the powers of: Appearance, Communications, and Embassies.
2e. The Assistant to the World Assembly Delegate can be removed from office at any time and replaced by the World Assembly Delegate.

Article III, Judicial:

3a. The Judicial Official of Region Name will start as the Founder and will remain as such until they either step down or the Nation Ceases to exist due to inactivity.
3b. At the time when the position sits open, a successor to the Judicial Official will be chosen by a unilateral decision by the World Assembly Delegate, Assistant to the World Assembly Delegate, and the Speaker of the Legislature.
3c. The Judicial Official will hold office until they either step down or the Nation Ceases to exist due to inactivity.
3d. The Judicial Official will have the powers of: Polls (only to be used in the case of Speaker of the Legislature removal proceedings), Communications, and Border Control (to remove Nations who require removal).

Bill of Rights:

Nations have the right to endorse any world assembly member they choose without consequence.

Every nation has a right to keep a National Military.

No Nation Will be turned away or banned from Region Name unless proper evidence is provided.
