Imperium Army
The Imperium Army is the standing ground force of the Solis Imperium of Atraland. There are 7.2 million active duty soldiers.Active Duty
Of the roughly millions of troops in the Army, 7.2 million of them are active duty. Active-duty forces live largely on base, with daily training, monthly shooting practice, and bi-monthly wargames, as well as annual participation in multi-branch wargames. Active-duty forces in the Army are generally well equipped, with only the Knights of Sol receiving higher priority in new equipment. Active-duty forces receive higher pay and better benefits than reservists, with full medical care and life insurance, active-duty is seen as a well-paying career for those with the willpower to succeed in the competitive meritocracy that is the Imperium Army.

Two members of the 145th (left) and the 892nd (right) Air Cavalry Corps. The one on the left is seen sporting the signature beret of the Air Cavalry. Bright red with a white fur liner the beret has the Air Cavalry insignia, the Radiant Cross of Sol, pinned on the front. The one on the right has a war modified standard V70 helmet used by the Imperium Army that has holes cut into its camo cover to allow leaves to be stuck into it, providing concealment. Personal field uniform modifications, although generally frowned upon, are allowed so long as they provide some form of benefit to combat.
