General Overview #1
"...Aesheryszyeen of Ryshun. At your service."

Aesher is the true manifestation of the Aegis in charge of Ryshun. She is the true form of Kurome; being the wolf (literally) that hides in sheep’s clothing (Victoria, Kurome, KP-X).

Her origin is undocumented, her status is held entirely by willpower alone, and her health is in constant decline, as her body slowly deteriorates from illness, and a lack of energy. Aesher, while now in the roughest spot she’s been since the Aegis War so many thousands of years ago, is determined to end the predicament that Ryshun finds itself in, and is willing to spend the borrowed time she has on this earth to make good on it. She is the embodiment of the true Rynese Aegises’ soul, put into a physical being, and thus, is the direct representation of the ‘dominant’ half of the Aegis of Ryshun, even during the ongoing conflict that spans both her own conscious being divided, as well as the nation she calls ‘home’.

She doesn’t speak often of her past, although whether or not that is because she doesn’t remember her past, or simply chooses to outright ignore it, is something that is still being speculated by her closest aides. While not physically weak by any stretch of the imagination - far surpassing the strength of a normal person, thanks to the fact she is made almost if not fully out of arcane energy - she is indeed decaying slowly. This decay is brung about by the malformation of her current physical manifestation, itself brung about by not having enough arcane energy to create the body she lives in fully. This malformation has become aligned with “Illness #442 - Ethepathy”, a degenerative disease blanket that can take on many forms, depending on the characteristics of the malformation and the arcane being in question.

Before others, she is respectful, calm, and rather collected. A woman of few words, when given the wrong topics to talk about, yet one of unbridled lexicon usage when one brings the conversation to things she is more well-versed in. While unafraid to challenge others, she does so in a respectful manner first - considerate of her supporters, aides, and the general public, as well as what they think of her in return, although seeking others’ approval is not something that she looks for, she does feel as though she owes the ghosts of her past, and she constantly seeks to prove herself to those she considers worthy of her respect. A few times she had mentioned that, during the Aegis War, Blades with Ethepathy were discarded en-masse, and when they weren’t discarded by their Drivers, they were prejudiced against, and effectively treated as mere tools and pawns, a symptom of a larger change in attitude between Drivers and Blades, where instead of an equal relationship, the scale was tipped in favor of the Driver, which would eventually become the norm in the months directly after the Aegis War. Because of this, Aesher herself has trouble voicing her opinion on certain topics before others as she fears others’ disapproval, or to be discarded & replaced like others.

When placed in a combat situation, Aesher’s respectful light is forcibly flickered out, and a strong, dead gaze arises from her silver-white, equally-as-dead eyes. As a fighter, she is a walking calamity; a beast made into a woman. Due to the advanced Ethepathy she suffers from, as well as the internal struggle that she has to deal with given half of her consciousness is physically, and mentally absent, she is prone to violent outbursts at seemingly random times. These outbursts allow an inordinate amount of energy to be channeled through her being, deteriorating and damaging her being, and slowly depleting her sanity.
This, coupled with her natural combat aggression, offensive-reliant tactics, vanguard-style combat and wide range of arcane attacks, makes her a weapon to be used with caution, or rather, a weapon that requires to be restrained heavily.

Physique:

Strictly physically speaking, Aesher is relatively tall - at a stature of 172cm (5 foot 7), with a non-muscular, and rather slim physique. Her arms are smooth, with a couple of scars on her right forearm. This all works in her favor when it comes to impressing others with her abilities, not all of them being derivative of raw muscular strength. Her skin complexion is pale - more pale than is healthy for a human, but thankfully that is one thing that she isn’t, fully. It is, however, telling of her current health. Her hair is primarilly silver, as that is the color of her rather thick overcoat of hair. However, her undercoat - being part wolf as she is - is a dark grey, almost black color, though it isn't seen much. Her hair is often not as well kept as the rest of her appearance, with two black hair clips usually being worn to keep the front of her hair from going ‘wild’, as she herself would say. On her head, a set of silver wolf ears can be found - fluffy, and far more reactive to sound, making her exceedingly good at hearing things where others can’t. A singular scar runs through her right eye, from her upper cheek to just past her eyebrow. The natural color of her eyes is a dim golden-hazel hue, which can only be seen at night or in environments with low light - as her Ethepathy causes her eyes’ irises to turn a blank white color when exposed to light. Additionally, due to said Ethepathy, the 'natural' color of her irises has changed to a very dim, just-barely noticeable around the rim of her irises, baltic-blue color. When asked about it, Aesher confirmed that it does not actually impair her vision, at least, she believes it does not. Additionally, from her lower back, a wolf tail hangs - silver as her hair, never rising high, although correctly cared for. If one were to judge her mood based on this aspect, Aesher is in a constant state of alertness; although sometimes, when specific emotions become strong enough, one can see her tail wagging rapidly.

Due to her Ethepathy, she has various scars, although some are mere reminders of battles from long ago, and literal cracks on her body, formed due to the illness. Additionally, large chunks of carbon-graphite have begun replacing the top layer of her skin in specific areas of her body. These chunks of carbon are dried arcane energy (Ether), which forms into carbon-graphite once exposed to oxidizing agents for a period of time, fusing back with the body to create an extremely sensitive and painful area on the infected beings’ body. Given that this is a new development, Aesher has not been able to overcome some of the initial difficulties of her Ethepathy, and, additionally, she fears that some of these carbon shards will form inside of her body, as has been the case for most if not every single case of Ethepathy that has ever been recorded. She does, however, fully intend to make the most of the time she has, both to live the life she never had the chance to, and to try and figure out a solution for her illness.

Before others, she always presents herself rather formally - she wears a black dress, which extends just barely to her thighs, with white and golden detailing, the most important of which is holding the neck of said dress together and tight to her body, being the crest of the Vermillion Age of Östneptunen, a landform that used to be located just north of ‘the Rynese League’. Although she’s never explained the relevance of such an item and icon with her own being, she sometimes can be seen clutching it with her hands, seemingly melancholic of a different time. A time before us all, perhaps. Additionally, holding the waist of her dress, a golden button from which a cross hangs can be seen.

On top of her dress, she wears a long coat, matching the primary color of her dress - black. It does have an intricate design on the large, long sleeves. While lightweight and not very thick, she has a certain affection towards that coat, never been seen in public without it. She also wears black gloves, more so as a fashion statement than due to the Verusan cold of Rynese winters, let alone the winters of Ryshun before its arrival to Strangereal. Much like when she inhabited the android body of Unit AFFX-1, she wears a special type of combat boots that were designed for her, mostly out of necessity given that she is just as much of an active combatant as she is a woman of administrative duties.

Her skirt isn't particularly long, however, she made sure that it is sufficiently long to cover the initial cracks formed by her Ethepathy on her thigh, which is the first area that begun turning 'black' due to her illness.

Addendum A:

She has taken a vow to not use Victoria’s sword, ‘Virtuous Contract’, anymore. Instead, she has returned to a set of twin swords, which were forged before the Aegis War even took place. She considers them war relics, however, their edge is as sharp as when they were brand new, and they have been taken care of with the most intense dedication possible by their wielder. These twin swords were designed to channel arcane energy, generated from their wielder, so that they could be used in offensive attacks, as well as for defense. Additionally, within her coat, she hides three 7,62x25mm Küpfler magazines, and an STS-004 old-world service pistol. Her personal motto on the topic is that while it is okay to be unarmed; she could never live without the safety that being armed (and trained with weapons) provides.

Additionally, she vowed to never utilize her own twin blades - her protactor-based casting Sundials. However, due to the immediate situation of Ryshun, as well as her own mind slowly adjusting back into what it perceives as 'normal', and her decaying state due to her Ethepathy, she has picked them up for use once more. This makes her a very dangerous weapon - one that would live up to the legends of old, and the stigma that both Blades and Aegises have within the borders of the Confederation. Aesher herself, however, merely believes that it is the correct thing to do. To quote her, carrying her swords - makes her feel as though she is herself, once more.

As an anecdote (retrieved from those close to her), she seems to have a wide array of hobbies, if mostly to entertain herself and distract her mind from the sharp pain of the Ethepathy shards embedded in her body. On weekends, she watches local racing events - such as the All-Rynese Grand Touring Car Championship, citing that it’s a pastime that she gained from people she knew in the old world, and, one that she was never able to indulge due to public stigma and the perception of her having such a 'lowly' hobby. Much like the Kurome she used to be, she is an honorary member of Aperture Laboratories, often participating in their less intensive programmes, slowly working alongside Lady Ilyun - whom is trying her best to make up for what she allowed to happen to Aesher without her knowledge - to perhaps figure out a cure for Ethepathy, a revolutionary, field-changing research path.

General Overview #2
"...Sometimes... It's... like operating in a fog. Everything is just... a little misplaced..."

"Aesher". The "Lady of the Forbidden Valley of Ryshun"

Her memory is spotty. It comes in and out, blinking in front of her eyes like a decayed lightbulb with a bad contact. She has a tendency to dissociate from the world around her, seemingly freezing up in place or collapsing to the ground as her mind is overwhelmed with the task of transcribing the sudden rushes of memories that are unlocked piece by piece as she takes one more breath upon this soil she has to call her 'homeland'.

She has come to terms with parts of her own memories. Through them, she has discovered that she is originally from Siracusa - a small town, close to Alppihelmi. She was named after the 'mythical' (in truth, a very real) geological formation of an aesher. She vaguely remembers being referred to by a different name back then, however, those memories are tied to her by a string. They are far away, hazy, and difficult to discern just what is going on in them. This has driven her to believe that her "real name" may very well have been forgotten to time. It doesn't bother her - not particularly. She's fine being referred to as the Lady of the Forbidden Valley, or just Aesher, for short.

The slow decay of her being, thanks to her Ethepathy (blanket term), has started to rear it's head. Both for bad, and for good. Graphite is a very strong ether conductor, which means that she is able to utilize her own decaying self as a means to strengthen her arcane abilities. However, this comes at a cost - her time on this earth depletes even quicker than it would otherwise.

An 'aesher' is the "Forbidden Valley of the Rose Flowers" - a formation where a river courses through a tall valley, it's one side lined with blue roses, and the other with black roses. Depending on which bank of the river an Aegis is enveloped in the water in upon their creation, it will "predetermine" the deeds that the Aegis will do for the country that it represents.

In a recent review with the current Leader of the Rynese Soviet - acting Prime Minister of the Confederation - she was deemed "temporarily unfit to rule due to her current mental, physical, and psychological state". She is, however, referred to in redacted remarks as a worthwhile long-term investment. She will be taking an extended break for personal reasons outside of the country, specifically to the nation of Illusia and Neverendia, as part of what she refers to as a self-discovery voyage.

As of current, she, and her contracted mercenary bodyguard, Aida 'Weiss' Lucedia, are partaking in that "long -term vacation" of sorts in Illuverendia. While it's explicit purpose is lost on most people, Aesher firmly believes that through new lived experiences, she can perhaps start to uncover some of the missing pieces of her memory, and that through sheer exposure, she can start to return to the person that she once was, for her nation requires her so, but above all else, her people need her at her strongest. She longs to find her companion, Lexuen, once more.

Takahashi Uzume / Queen of Eastern Ryshun / Orange Heart

Height: 5'5" (1 metre 65cm)
Height(Ascended Form): 5'7" (1 metre 70cm)
Date of Creation: 30th October, 001878 Klassique.
Birthplace: ---
Weight: 53kg / 58kg.
Aspiration: Unknown(?)
Background: Unknown.
Origin: One half of Empress Victoria's personality.

'Takahashi Uzume', or better known as just 'Uzume', is one half of Lady Victoria's personality, released onto the world as a separate being from her 'full' self after a self-destructive episode of inexplicably large magnitude that split the nation in half - quite literally.

Uzume, within the bounds of her half of Ryshun, is well liked, most notably for her approachable and open personality. She's more closely aligned with Victoria's more 'heroic' self-vision of herself, and her moral judgement is very much veering towards a sort of 'always attempt to do the most for all' mindset, even if it takes a heavy toll on her.

Sadly, her largest shortcoming is her lack-thereof of power. She drew the shorter stick out of the two halves' of the Aegises personality, capable of only a portion of Lady Victoria's Core Crystal. Of the over 𝜈AU 9,500,000,000 that her full Core Crystal can output, she is capable of 𝜈AU 3,476,998,000. While this makes her incredibly powerful within the borders of the Confederation, she is second to her other half, which is something that, to her, is cause for worry.

The catch to such power is a rather heavy toll to merely exist, where at least 𝜈AU 1,998,000 are used to maintain her physical form within the current plane of existence of Strangereal. This often leaves her exhausted after about a full day's worth of activities, unlike other Aegises of her time - or later than - who were capable of better energy management. This is, in part, due to the age and inefficiencies of Lady Victoria's arcane circuit, which is a flaw also present in her other half - although, given the 'flexibility' (ease of fusion) shown by Lady Kurome, only really hampers Uzume.

Physical Description:

On the exterior, Uzume is 1 metre 65, and has long, red hair tied into twintails, with two bangs to the sides of her head. Her eyes are lightly more crimson than her hair, and she has a very pale skin complexion. She wears her white jacket with only the topmost or first two topmost buttons on, and wears a comically long, orange tie with white detailing and black borders that extends to just above the lower edge of her grey skirt. Her arms are entirely covered by her black gloves, and she wears a micro-tablet on her left wrist, akin to an early 90's mobile game console.

She wears black boots with orange detailing, her socks ending just under her knees. She does, however, sometimes wear thigh-high stockings, if the weather demands it. And if it's cold enough, she wears a shirt under her white jacket, often in either white as well, or orange. Very few times will she wear 'dark' clothing, as she feels it does not fit her at all.

Ascended Form Description:

Orange Heart, otherwise known as Uzume's Ascended Form, is very similar to her, if not 5 centimeters taller. Rather than red crimson eyes, she bears large, blue eyes, although they have often been said to be described as 'gradients of blue', where the upper corners of her eyes are darker than the bottom corners of them. Her pupils are turned into power-buttons, and although it's unknown why that is, she states that it's probably due to the time she spent as an android, living within the bounds of her artificial form. 'The environment I'm in does affect me' were her words, exactly.

Her hair, although shortened and now an orange colour rather than red, retains it's most notable traits, such as the twintails and the two, longer bangs to the sides of her head. She sports a 'crown' of sorts between the two buns of her hair, which acts as an arcane relay for her Core Crystal (as quoted). She wears rather questionable clothing, but clothing nonetheless, that comes in the form of a form-fitting outfit in white and blue with silver and orange detailing, her shoulders and forearms shown while her white gloves (of course with matching orange detailing) extend just past her elbows. On her left wrist, she now has a large, round 'shield', with a curved 'V' pattern on it. Said V-pattern forms a protective layer on top of a tablet-like screen, which she uses for navigation, vitals checks, arcane stamina checks, and other important information she wants to keep track of on the go.

Wearing a pair of white-and-orange boots, noticeably stylish and rather tall, she doesn't wear very large socks unlike her 'standard' or otherwise 'reserved' form.

Her personality as 'Orange Heart' changes mildly, becoming more prideful of her skills and far more powerful than her standard form. However, she is still limited to what's allocated of her Core Crystal for her existence, and her Ascended Form consumes even more than her standard form - one and a half times as much (𝜈AU 3,201,000) - to merely 'exist' as a physical being. While her arcane skills and abilities are more efficient as Orange Heart, she is very unlikely to be seen in this form, mostly because of how self-aware she is about the form-fitting clothing.

Sadly, she doesn't have the guts to go against several millenia of Aegis form-fitting clothing tradition, and as such, simply avoids her Ascended Form rather than change clothes.

Extra Information:

Uzume is usually unaware - or completely unfazed and uncaring - about the skin shown, and is very prideful about her battle prowess. Proven a capable warrior, she could be considered the perhaps more 'skilled' of the two halves to Victoria's personality. However, due to her lack of total 𝜈AU and lack of stamina, she is not often seeing combating the anomalies at the edges of the Rynese Confederation - reminders and remainders of the Dimensional Fracture.

Uzume is completely incapable of utilizing their previous' complete form's artificial body, made by Aperture Science. The location of that form is also unknown - although rumor goes that her other half is in possession of it, and is working towards a complete restoration of it's potential. Uzume, however, nigh cares much for it.
She is rather open, politically-speaking, and left-leaning - very much so, for a monarch. She lacks a partner, and she is not interested in the matter at all. Focused at the moment in finding her footing as a ruler, she is often seen pulling late-night work shifts to ensure her part of the Confederation is working-as-intended and at full capacity. However, the lack of international trade and mildly less industrialized land than what her counterpart's has control over, might prove her efforts more difficult than originally expected.

Her current 'main' goal is the reunification of her self - be it through diplomatic or forceful means. Once that's achieved, she plans on instating a five-Aegis ruling setup for the Kingdom, and restoring the Confederation to it's previous state. She regrets the actions committed by her counterpart, and has vowed to never again slaughter another of her own kin. As such, Rynese reunification under Uzume might see a weaker Victoria be supported by the four Aegises that once formed part of her 'complete' self.
