The Kingdom of Pren Du is a colossal, environmentally stunning nation, ruled by Merllyn ap Ddraig with an iron fist, and notable for its rum-swilling pirates, pith helmet sales, and punitive income tax rates. The hard-nosed, cynical population of 5.239 billion Pren Duans are ruled by a mostly-benevolent dictator, who grants the populace the freedom to live their own lives but watches carefully for anyone to slip up.

The large, corrupt government juggles the competing demands of Healthcare, Defense, and Administration. The average income tax rate is 68.3%, and even higher for the wealthy.

The frighteningly efficient Pren Duan economy, worth 613 trillion Dragons a year, is fairly diversified and led by the Information Technology industry, with major contributions from Arms Manufacturing, Tourism, and Automobile Manufacturing. Black market activity is frequent. State-owned companies are common. Average income is an impressive 117,171 Dragons, and distributed extremely evenly, with little difference between the richest and poorest citizens.

There is a law against "filthy foreign food", people can't decide between preserving forests and buying print copies of 'Dogman Versus The Giggler', religious organizations are being forced to leave the country or pay income taxes like everybody else, and biotech companies are fined if their jumbled genetic sequences look too familiar. Crime, especially youth-related, is totally unknown, thanks to a well-funded police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Pren Du's national animal is the Red Dragon, which soars majestically through the nation's famously clear skies.

Pren Du is ranked 26,461st in the world and 580th in The East Pacific for Lowest Crime Rates, with 84.95 law-abiding acts per hour.
