Minor Character Profiles (WIP)
Role: Intermittent Head of Diplomacy
Culture: Kaigan Kottashiman, gaikoi, amai-chi
”I’ve always sought to do my duty. Whether that be war, or diplomacy, it makes little difference to me. I am wounded, yes. Does that hold me back? No. Nor will it hold us back. As a nation, we are wounded, but those wounds will heal. We have never ceased to triumph. And so, I take this philosophy, and apply it to myself.”
Tokiko Suou was one of few Chudokurens to both desire and have access to s wide variety of foreign works. She enlisted to become a diplomat after her compulsory military service, but was never directly called to service in any negotiations. She spent her time studying the ideologies and beliefs of foreign nations, especially those of Friently, the Syca Empire, and, perhaps bizarrely, Puczovska. However, she always valued her own nation far more.
In the Nightmare War, Tokiko was one of many warriors fighting against the Tengoku. She gained a considerable kill count, and was reported to show little fear. Despite several scarring incidents, she remained sociable and eloquent yet intimidating. She is known for carrying two knives- one for stabbing enemies, and one for shūkei. In the aftermath of the war, she was one of few diplomats left alive and in condition to do her duty. With Kiku undergoing rehabilitation, Tokyo Suou was promoted to Intermittent Head of Diplomacy.
Due to her wartime experiences, Tokiko has several notable physical characteristics. These include several shūkei tally markings on her forearms, left leg, and right cheek. Her left eye was gouged out by a Tengokuren soldier, so she has an eyepatch to cover the wound. Her hair is black and her eyes are piercing blue. During battle, she was struck by b from an enemy battalion who soaked their rounds in nekoficatikn serum. The resulting organs were amputated, though their stumps remain visible on her head and backbone. Tokiko is also naturally tall. She speaks with a notable Kottashiman accent. Typical attire of the diplomat is a dark purple cloak-dress.

Full credit to Edwerlantin for this.
His Excellency Sekien Suzuki was ruler of the nation of Edwerlantin, a power in Osea. Due to mysterious yet dangerous circumstances, the nation has since fallen into collapse. Having previously been tenshified by Aozora on his own request, Sekien is a potent warrior and is capable of using both advanced technology and his own light-related tenshi-based magic to great effect. However, he is also known to suffer from some mental instability.
The circumstances of Sekien’s arrival in Kyoki Chudoku, as necessitated by the harsh situation, have had a significant impact on Aozora, who is very unused to this situation. She does, however, greatly appreciate his presence.
